Meandered to the oiler blog and saw a post where someone suggests needs for them, and all of our rentals slide perfectly into their roster… so maybe that’s match down the road

Second rders idk if they have which is what we really need tho

Ill take Skinner off their hands with a 2nd round pick for Smith.

you mean Jeff or Stu?
I was thinking if they maybe were interested in Garand. Stuart Skinner isn’t a terrible idea for next season

Jeff, Ive seen somewhere they arent happy with him and want to get rid of him.

Stu isnt a bad option, but hard to trade a guy that got you to game 7 of the Stanley Cup final for a kid that hasnt logged a single minute in the NHL.

Why when garand could be the backup next season and maybe even a viable starting goaltender for us to trade? His value can’t possibly be lower than it is right now because he’s never played an nhl game

How do prospects gain any value? I’d think having a very good year in the AHL increases value, which he’s doing. I’d also think teams believe in Ranger goalie prospects if you look at our history with them.

If he has any value I think we’re better off trading him over using him as a back up because backup goalies literally grow on trees. Maybe you find a team who really believes in Garand. It would need to be a team who doesn’t have any goalies in the pipeline

I have no issues trading Garand, but hes also cost controlled for us. If someone wants him, I would rather a team come to us and say they want him rather than us willfully throwing him in a trade?

Goalies don’t work like regular players in terms of trade value

Like you said he’s cheap, and you can sign a 1B veteran. I think it’s more about him being ready for the NHL and you give him the reigns next season. He ain’t getting it NY

His save% is .912 down there. 22 years old. I think he’s got pretty good value. I think teams were scouting him this year

I think Garand alone could be worth a 2nd round pick for a team looking for a goalie to try to build around.

I saw something that they were waiting to see what Boston's plans are because they would be in the market for Marchand.

You guys can’t read. I was making a joke about it but nothing is funny anymore when I type. It said “I will not” delete the account. Feel free to find the blog

I would never leave you guys and yea if he plays with miller it could happen, but that may not happen every game. So it’s virtually impossible 😞

Ovechkin on the other hand, he gonna catch and pass Gretzky

Besides being an important game because it’s the islanders it’s not going to sit well if they come out flat in the first period tonight and get embarrassed!
