I mean taking way too long to make a decision was what got hi traded from Colorado in the first place so him taking his time here probably isn't super surprising. - BINGO!
Well the Av’s supposedly have an internal cap nobody gets more than MacK & Makar is up soon for a new deal. It’s nor MR’s problem the Av’s don’t have a 2C & suck in goal. He might not quite put up Draisaitl points but he has a cup. The Av’s weren’t giving him his ask whereas it seems the Canes have offered. He said he was surprised he was traded & it caught him off guard. That doesn’t equate into him all about money only & has no loyalty owed towards Carolina. |

IMO opinion that’s garbage return for a top10 forward, would you be happy with Tuch and a 2nd for EP40? I’m sure a couple of the lemons on here would be, but that’s bad return imo. They paid a premium. - neem55
Thx for the reply. Sure I would but you omitted the cap savings & the 2nd is early in the 2nd round. I’ll take a 6’ 4” 200lb+ faster skater. I’m sick of EP & his airs. A top 60C. Some other team can coddle his sorry ass. Now I do get it you & everyone would like a greater return as if he wasn’t a sell low but if he was his old self we wouldn’t be talking about him & I’d have spared this blog the whatever 20k posts on him that still barely surpasses Dripwoods emojis. |

he's also slightly older than Rantanen with almost exactly half as many career points. - BINGO!
Truth but is cheaper & not a rental. Not an ideal return. Big fish UFA’s don’t gravitate to Carolina either. Ty for a hockey reply. |

Obvious I’m all in to add a big fish up front. Who how or when isn’t up to me but I am certain something big will happen by the TDL. |

I think they will pick up a scoring forward, don’t know how big of a fish makes sense. Rakell is a name out there, wouldn’t surprise me. |

Only player I’ve ridden in the past was Myers. Mainly cuz his salary but there was good reason to knock him but he turned it around to get outta my dog house. LM helped me look at him harder. I’ve been picky here & on other players nothing to a big degree. |

I can see that as a possibility. Prefer a C but there isn’t anyone out there likely to be moved that we might want. Maybe a 3-way with Boeser going out? |

I (frank)ing love that Pettersson told the media to go (frank) themselves, good for him, true sign of an alpha not content to listen to the constant droning on by expectant loud mouths that wouldn’t be able to bend over and put on a pair of skates.
Hope after tonight’s loss he tells media to shut the (frank) up again and again, I would like to see Pettersson pull a Marshawn Lynch whenever the media is around the team.
Hurray for Pettersson’s attitude. ❤️

You gotta have some fun with it.
Myers does have 1 goal and 5 assists in his last 10 games. Petey has 1 assist during that same time frame. Couldn't help but notice Miller is up to 9 points in 8 games with the Rangers as well. Between Miller and Myers salaries they still don't make as much as Petey. |

Big game tonight. I predict #40 with 2 goals 3 assists tonight, upping his trade value. |

Totally agree. EP is such a star he should be exempt from speaking to the media. I mean (frank) his contract right? Certainly isn’t playing like the 5th highest paid player in the league so he may as well ignore all of his other contractual obligations. Petey is the man! So cool and badass |

I mean, is he Quinn Hughes, the actual Captain and superstar of the team? No? Then why the hell should he be forced to answer questions when he's not the captain and clearly going to bombarded with questions that are thinly veiled criticism from fans that's been distilled through the media solely for entertainment and not actual journalism? |

He is a professional athlete, and fans have every right to seek answers to his performance and anything to do with the team and sport he is extremely well paid for , it is fan interest that allows grown men to be paid extremely well to play a sport . |

He could use a 3 game conditioning stint in Abby amongst his peers. |

It’s his job. He is paid $1,000,000 goal. Answer a few stupid questions and don’t be a moody b!tch all the time |

Def part of the job. How hard is it to just sit up there and say "Yeah I've gotta keep trying, get my feet going and good things will start to happen" |

The media is soooo soft with him. Never ask the tough questions. Hopefully they start hammering him |
