One 40 goal season does not warrant an 8 year deal as he won't be able to repeat it. I know the kid went through some tough times and all I just don't see another 5 year stint working here for Boeser or the Canucks. it's fine replacing those goals won't be that tough considering where he is now.

Last time I checked it was a team game. The comparison is crystal clear, none of these players are living up to their contracts.
