Some of the guzzlers are still in denial

I still think we're 3 weeks away from talking about how good we're going to be next year.

Good grief. What a head case.

Was there ever any doubt? Him wanting to figure it out himself what a joke. He knows better than anybody else says it all. Cue the excuse machine…

Don't forget he's been booted off of PP1. It's almost as if Tocchet has eyes and can see how bad he's sucking in the O-zone.

Coddling is officially over. Too bad the wait & see crowd couldn’t see the writing on the wall many months ago.

They may need to start looking at a Petey Buyout in the office season if they can't move him. Wild to say and I'm sure someone will take him but the fact that may need to be thought about is madness

Yeah, my Wife texted me that from the game last night while I was at band rehearsal. He's up to 18 goals now. Big RHD. Just needs to clean up his footwork a bit. Very fun team to watch this year.

Already 6'4 and 215 lbs, as a 16 year old. Impressive stats, to go with his size.

Another brown out. This site is on life support.

Listening to 650 yesterday & some good perspectives on what ails the team. Had to agree. Blame has to go on mgmt for the roster assembly none really on the coaching staff a bunch on Petey but not all on him. Jannick though really was blunt about EP.

The long trend of low event no offence has to signal being sellers.

Tocchet is largely to blame too. Exempting him from the issues is just plain stupidity.

100%. Tocchet was in charge of a locker room that dissolved into absolute chaos. Many times this season the team looked unprepared to start games, that’s on coaching. I think there were times many of us questioned Tocc’s line combinations and how he deployed certain players.

There’s not just one cause or one player for Canuck mediocrity. It’s a combination of errors that has lead to one of the most disappointing seasons in Canuck history.

It's the wrong mix of players as leaders obviously. Can't go through 4 coaches and have it be the coach each time. They have poop attitudes and not enough talent. Keep trying to fix it till it works is all you can do. Wild how Hughes is essentially everything you'd want in a leader and Petey is everything you don't want

Hey, I think as captain Hughes shoulders some of the blame too. If Miller and Pouty truly respected Quinn they would not have behaved like they did.

Wrong. Sure some of the blame on the coach as mishandling the Hogs situation and few others but he was literally given a much different roster to work with at seasons start as well. Expectations were the same or higher and it wasn't in the cards with this roster. The immaturity of these players to solve their own room issues and efforts is much to blame here...it only falls minutely on Tocchet there champ.

Yeah he's a big lad. He's got some serious skill to go with that size. Excellent passer and a hard shot that gets through more often than not. Sure fire 1st rounder.

He's having the same problems he had in Arizona where he had one good season/playoffs and then crashed and burned... yes, it is on him. He's the coach, if the players were having issues in the room with each other, it's on him to either solve it or work around it, clearly he could do neither. Ultimately it's a failure of leadership from the top on down and JR/PA, Tocchet, Hughes and the rest of the alternates are part of that.
