Here's something cool I just learned.

You can view historical box scores for old games on NHL.com and it goes back pretty far. There's a decent amount of game stats, depending on what was being officially tracked at the time.

For example, on this day in 1975, the Caps visited the Leafs and were holding a 4-3 lead until less than two minutes to go when the Leafs struck twice, including with 7 seconds remaining in regulation for the win. (Ferguson from McDonald and Salming).

Leafs have what it takes for PO's this year or what? Need some input for the PO pool lol.....

Well first step is the leafs making the playoffs and they are at least the most consistent team in the NHL currently at that. All bets are off once they get to the first round though!

Well, he won't take my Leafs advice and when they win he'll be disappointed.

He usually behaves in here, but I don't stray into other teams' threads that often. 99% of the time I'm either here in Leaf land or posting something snarky in Ek's prediction threads.

I can't remember the last time I went into a Canucks thread, if ever.

Read some stuff about Ristolainen making a bit of a top4 comeback. Big RH defensive dman ...could be an option. Connor Murphy sounds like he could fit with Rielly too.

I'm thinking most likeliest outcome is something like Gourde and Soucy.

Outside chance they go big and double dip and get Schenn/Schenn or Risto/Laughton.

I don't think guys like Nelson or Parayko are getting moved.

Risto might surprise like OEL did.

I'd be OK with these moves, depending on price.

Domi up ...Homeburger down?

I think? When Krok comes off I.R. ..they'd have to waive a forward. That assumes Patches and Tanev are hidden on IR.

Numbers are toight!

Wouldn’t sending Steeves down do it? They’re listed as having $1.4 in space. Jarnkrok is $2.1 and Steeves is $775.

Not a cap space issue but just bodies.

14F, 7D, 2G is the max. Unless somebody else is on IR or emerg call up then I think Jarnkrok in and Steeves out still puts them at 15F?

That said ...they can just muck around this week with "so and so is sick" ..emergency call-up type poop ....just have to get to Friday.

Assuming they add atleast 1 FWD I think 2 or 3 are out by Friday.
