Laughton is a bottom 6 LW, who is not a Mark Messier as a leader. I get trying to maximize value, but his trade value will not go higher over the summer or the next trade deadline. Couts and Tk are going to be here awhile, if they cannot hold the room together, then there really is no hope. I would like to see Pelletier move up in the lineup and see if he can play.

The experts say we could've gotten a mint for Laughts if we traded him last year or the year before. I don't see it. He's 30 and been in the league many years. It would be a miracle if we get a late 1st. I'll take a 2nd or a prospect right now and will drive Laughts to the airport if someone really wants him

I dont see Schenn being moved. Not at the current rumoured price. There was a Leafs rumour thar suggested the asking price was 2026 1st and Minten or Cowan. Thats a big price for a guy with just 9 points more than Laughton, last time I checked.

Leafs fans seem to be fed up with Domi. Send laughton there and take a contract back if you have to to get a good return.

Yes but it’s more than that. I want his roster spot for a younger player to step into. I want his cap money so the flyers have more options this off season. And I want him gone because it’s a clear recognition this team needs to pick as high as possible in this draft class. Laughton will help the flyers win games and that is that last thing this team needs right now.

Not just about points. Schenn is a bonafide center, leader and has a history with Berube. Laughton is just good in the room.
