I don't think Mika gets moved even at 50% retention. I'm just wondering:

WHO GOES NEXT??

People haven’t noticed how good zib has been recently. It’s crazy 🤷🏻‍♂️

With the cap going up, would u eat 50% of Zib’s salary to make him tradeable? For 4+ I’m sure there would be a ton of teams that would be interested.
- nyrangers9479

Getting him to waive his NTC would be an issue.

Back when the rumors were red hot, he was rumored to have said he would waive his NMC for the right team/situation.

I’d prefer they stay together and see if Miller could get the best out of Laf now. Moving Laf back to LW.

laf Miller Zib line
Panarin Trocheck Cuylle

Jusso should get a look at 3C

That’s what I’d like to see

Mika may just be a RW now

I would put Laf Miller Cuylle. Maybe plying with 2 guys that play a physical game would bring some life out of the empty suit he’s become.

Drury did a good job getting rid of Goody Trouba Lindgren etc.

I only thing miller and borgen are slotted into next years roster. Puzzle only 60% complete

This is a very good step. And yes, it shows the direction. I like it. Got a 2nd rounder, which is impressive.

NSH is the perfect example of why aging overpriced free agent veterans don’t work.

No matter how I try to think about this I can’t wrap my head around why Colorado would do this. It solves almost nothing for them (is lindgren any better than de haan and if so it can’t be by very much as Lindgren is genuinely terrible now). Vesey? Fine role player but so what? All at the expense of 2 picks and a 24 year old bottom 6 center with size.

Miller Zib is a thing. I don’t know why the Trocheck line hasn’t found the magic of last year. It’s quite irritating

Bc Laf and Panarin are the 2 laziest and uninspired hockey players on the team. I don’t know what happened to them, but both of them don’t look like they’re having fun out there. It’s like their shifts are a chore to them.

You know, while I agree. I think I am going to accept it. Hah.
Does kind of set a price bar for role players.
Now move Krider and few others.

I think that’s a terrible trade for FLA, great trade for CHI. They’re retaining 2.6 for 5 years but who cares.

Bc no matter how much we’ve come to dislike Lindgrens play, he’s a perfect 3rd pair guy for the playoffs with playoff experience. That value can’t be seen on a stat sheet.

I was thinking the same thing, why would Sakic over pay for Lindgren or is it the Avs dont have much value in De Hann and Parssinen?

Well time will tell.
