Clearly they were never going to use him.. He does not fit Trelivings mold for a D.

Should have traded him while he had value.

I think they made a similar mistake with Robertson he should have been traded over a year ago.

True or not, it's not really a big deal. He's not ready for the show and it shows. Let him keep developing here or abroad. He was always a good gamble. 3rd rounders are magic beans.

Agreed, I've been saying to trade Robbie for a while now. But he's turned himself into a nice little sweetener in a larger move.

Or, maybe he sticks with the team and keeps developing his game. I think it was Zezel that said he needs to play like a little piss missile, and that's exactly what he's been doing for the last little bit.

If Rielly and OEL went down, it would likely be him up. He's an offensive defenseman, guys like Tanev/Benoit/McCabe etc. being out requires a more steady and safe option.
