Moving Parsinen after playing under 24 minutes of hockey for our team would be absolutely senseless. Unless he was a throw away add on to the trade that they were forced to take. I don't think that's the case, so you have to give the guy a legitimate shot to prove what he's worth. IMO. - Tonybere
I agree with ya. I just don’t know if he’s good enough for right now, and playoff run, or do they go after a Wennberg 2.0. He’s RFA so they have control next year, same with Kaliyev
I think id move Berard up with Othmann and have JBrod center them. Jusso with Carrick and Rempe as the 4th line |

I guess they could package a few things together for a 3C. They simply can’t trade the one first rder they’ll have the next two drafts.
Just wonder what happens with Kaliyev now maybe they can find a team that wanted to claim him. He’s got skills but no where to play here. Parsinen too. Idk what the plan is there. He hasn’t done much in two games.
You figure by the looks of it Othmann, Berard and Perrault are more then likely untouchable at the present time - Slimtj100
I’ve liked what I’ve seen. He’s big, fast, and plays hard. Seems to have a bit of nasty in him which is needed. Also made some skillful plays, wouldn’t be upset with him as 3C the rest of the way if another move isn’t made. |

Drury tried to get Parssinen back in his Nashville days. He has coveted him for a while. He is gonna be given a long look |

What’s gonna happen with Kreids😬I hope it ends well (not like Trouba) with whatever happens. Seems like the writing is on the wall for a separation over the summer probably |

I just don't think that a playoff run is the be all and end all at this time, TJ. I feel like (and hope) that Drury now feels like the free fall has been stopped and if they happen to be able to make a run in the post-season, great. But, it is not, and should not, be the driving factor behind deals that are made. Playoffs this season? Sure, great. Playoffs for the foreseeable future? Now we're talking.
Even if he doesn't show the skill to be a long term piece here right away, Parssinen is young, big and has fought his way up from being a 7th round pick to where he has 0.38 PPG so far in the league. That's a guy I'll give a little more leash to in order to find out. |

He has been hurt all year. Don’t think he can be moved now. Gonna be interesting this summer |

Yes. Although I think you knew the answer already?
Edit: Jimmy mentioned RW wins, and I agree. Look at the standings. We are on par with all the playoff locks on RW wins. We are leaps and bounds beyond the other contenders. |

Just my view, but I want to see Kreids and Zib gone next year. Let this be JT's team. |

Yeah my edit wasn’t necessarily meant towards you. Just looking at the standings you should see that is the case. My mention about RW wins was a separate thought that shows we are (on a regulation win basis) better than the teams we are competing against for the wild cards. |

I remember when they drafted Knight scratching my head because they had just signed Bob. Or signed Bob after that draft. In any event didn’t seem like the wisest draft pick at the time |

I don’t see it anymore. He’s been reborn/reinvented with JT. He’s got the confidence of 2-3 years ago |

Loved that trade for Chicago, especially since they only are eating $2.5 mil. Unsure what Florida does when Bob is a FA after next year and no goalie really in the system. |

Rangers could probably get Gourde for free basically. He makes a lot of money where he shouldn’t have too many teams in on him this time of year, and his year is pretty atrocious. He always been a good playoff guy |

For free tho is the key. McLeod, who I do like, will cost something valuable you’d think
My thinking is…for a playoffs run, get one more center and one more dman without giving up much of anything |

Not happening. Drury wanted to trade for this kid last year. He's not shipping him out of town after a three game tryout. |
