I would wet myself if that was achievable, but I don't think we have the assets to do that. - gravyface
There’s always enough assets if you’re willing to go all in. Would rather pay a poopload for a Parayko or ROR than just too much for Schenn. |

Yes, Putin is wrong for invading Ukraine. But, take a look at all of the whit that led up to it. Why don’t you look into what caused it to become so inflamed. The West is not innocent. It’s a (frank)ed up situation that only causes misery on both sides. If you got your head out of the bubble you live in you would realize it’s not as cut and dried as the people feeding you all of the bullpoop would have you believe. But go ahead on and keep supporting the War Pigs
Time to (frank)ing end it! - Ratsreign
What is cut and dry:
Russia invaded Ukraine
Russians are kidnapping raping and murdering Ukrainian women and children.
The russians arent the good guys
Ukraine is an allie
Trump ambushed the Ukrainian president in the white house and embarrassed the us.
Trump is a russian asset
Willie is our future captain
That much is cut and dry |

You'll get Laughton and Risto, and you'll like it.

Not sure I like trading that much for players who likely won't move the needle much, but they do both have a little term left. Risto could turn into a McCabe-like situation if we're lucky. |

Ukraine was just asking for it. Strutting around in her sexy “I wanna align with the west” outfits. We need to stop blaming the poor murderous dictator who just wants to reestablish the boundaries of the old Soviet empire. |

I think either we tweak, like add a L. Schenn for a mid round pick, or we go all-in and get actually good players with term that are in and around our core age group (late 20s).
I think the cost of B. Schenn is going to be too high, for his age. |

Nick Perbix and a magic bean for Bobbyson.
Leafs get a serviceable #5-6 RHD and a pick for an underachieving winger.

Robbie's playing a lot better as of late. He's a little piss missile out there. |

Ya he’s been pretty good and he does score for the limited playing time and lack off pp time. I don’t know if I necessarily want to give him up just yet. |

Agreed, I don't like this trade at all. But all signs point towards Philly not taking less than a first for Laughton, and the market is drying up for Cs, so they can play hardball. Risto intrigues me, might be a good add. He may play better in a better defensive structure like the Leafs. Don't like trading Nicky at this point.

I don’t hate him Nicky but I sure wouldn’t hesitate to move him. There’s a reason that Lorentz is the only regular that gets less ice time than him and that reason isn’t that Keefe is mean to him. I’d move Domi ahead of him for the space. |

Yup, with the 3rd line's play as of late (even with McMann stone-cold with like no shots), I'm less concerned. Holmberg is playing well, Jarnkrok injected a lot of speed into that 4th line, Dewar/Reaves, 13/14 forwards...
Now look at the D core... Myers, Benoit, and Timmins, all 6/7 guys playing 4/5/6 right now. |

Lightning would probably do Perbix, but not what I am about to suggest.
I would move Raddysh for Bobbyson. Raddysh is a late bloomer who is seriously a solid middle pairing guy who can quarterback the PP with a 100+ mph cannon slapshot that is actually on target and not some wild miss every time.
Dude can also hit and block shots. He's Cernak light, but younger with more offensive upside.
Solid deal for both teams. |
