So got Novak and a 2nd for Bunting. Pretty good then.

Getting Novak for Bunting wouldnt have been a bad move, getting a 2nd on top of that is great work.

Depending on what Carolina gets back for Rantanen, maybe Dubas moves Rakell to them? Considering they went after a winger and would need one again

I thought Toronto might go for him, but guessing they wont now with them getting Laughton.

Carolina definitely has to do something if Rantanen leaves. Would be a really bad look for them if he leaves, nothing major comes in, and they lose early again in the playoffs.

I wonder if the Pens use their cap space to absorb an expiring contract to make space for someone else? Like a reverse-rental. Getting a bad player we do not want just to grab another high pick (or prospect).
