Agreed but he’s Swedish…..never know with those Swedes. Could end up being a consistent secondary scoring guy. Add to that the back to back firsts and we have added assets to make more moves. Interesting to say the least. Lou woulda signed Dobson to 11 per and given his parents a job with the isles. Ha

However, since everyone knows the target, there is an emotional and leverage premium that won't make it easy for NYI

Again, I think we have to remember that mid first round picks in this year's draft carry very little value compared to other years. If we want Hagens, we'll have to add something/someone else to that mix with decent value.

If they want Hagens, I would think Utah or Boston have to be the targets while on the clock. That said, the Flyers really need a center and have the 6th pick

Told #Isles wanted both #CBJ 1st rd picks (No. 14, No. 20) tonight, a roster player (Dmitri Voronkov was reported by The Fourth Period) and another piece (a prospect? a later pick?) in exchange for D Noah Dobson.

They wanted them to beat the #Canadiens offer, and #CBJ wouldn't.

previously reported that GM Mathieu Darche told Mathew Barzal and Bo Horvat that they were not getting moved. I know VAN has wanted Barzal, the BC native, for forever.

Would be stunned if Barzal got traded...stunned.
