Yeah I’m not a fan either. I think a team should be able to trade any player to any team. It really hampers the asset management.

Mitch Marner has signed an 8-year deal x $12 million ($96 million total) with #LeafsForever, coordinated in conjunction with #VGK, on a sign-and-trade to Vegas.

This is pending trade call, which will send package back to Toronto for his rights.

There isn’t a GM that doesn’t want to improve his team and he is proving he’s not afraid to pull the trigger on a big deal let trading Dobson if he thinks it’s best for the club.
I’m thinking he could sign Tony D for the right side. I honestly think he will trade to get what he wants vs a free agent signing but who know with Darsch. He has a plan for this team and it looks like he’s going to get it done.

I agree, he is definitely not afraid to put his balls on the line. Took stones to trade Dobson but I think he did the right thing. Hope it all works out!

Yeah I wasn’t trying to pawn it off as my own but it makes sense. I never expected it to be a reality but the isles have $ to spend. Rosner said Ehlers as well but I know he’s not well liked on this thread. Ideally I’d like to see them add some offense and re sign DeAngelo
