Man the leafs fans moaning about Marners exit and how he kinda screwed them is just bitter sweet. I can’t help but smirk. Its always ok until it happens to you…

Clearly the next step is for Vegas to throw Marner an appreciation parade.

I was way off on that one That's massive. If he has a strong season he could be a huge trade deadline target

wow yeah that’s an amazing deal for the isles. This Darche guy…..he’s alright. Ha

Not for nothing but that leaves roughly 8 million for spending at noon. Boeser knows Horvat….🤷‍♂️

Marner can’t commit to anything right now, as he’s shopping for Lambos and mansions.

Per PuckPedia, the Isles presently have $12,943,334 in cap space remaining. Holmstrom, Tsyplakov, Heinemen, and maybe Gatcomb still need deals.

Any decent tough guy for the 4th line that can be signed?

It's funny how the Twitter reactions to Tony D's signing are just a cacophony of screeching about how terrible of a person and player he is and how dumb the Isles are... ... ...and there really was none of that during his time on the Island last season. He played well enough (better than I expected, honestly) and I can't remember anything he did as an Islander that was even remotely controversial.

Ignoring how PuckPedia specifically has these lines organized, someone on this list would have to be shipped out to make room for it.

But if they could get Tanner Jeannot cheap on a 2-3 year deal, I'd certainly consider it

The #Avs didn't qualify William DuFour, Jean-Luc Foudy, John Ludvig and Kevin Mandolese yesterday.

They are all officially UFAs.

Lack is skating like a lot of former Islander prospects.

I’m told the @NYIslanders are among the potential landing spots for G Rittich. #HockeyX

Interesting. Guess they don't have much faith in Big Hog as their backup. Or in Varlamov playing this year.

edit:

Would only make sense if Varlamov isn't ready to go. Darche told me the other day that Varlamov was feeling really good and has had no issues during the rehab process. #Isles

Gotta give Carolina credit. They’re so close and they continue to be active to get to the next level.
