I also honestly believe if they could have gotten a 3rd or better for Palms it would have been done. Anything less isn’t worth it to me. I would rather have him to try and make a playoff push than a worthless draft pick or an inferior prospect.

He does not like draft picks or farm teams like Bridgeport. Did he get those Devils players that won 3 Cups from a tree? Did he expect prime time players and prospect for players like Lee and JGP? Even Palms was not bringing back a huge return.

They could've gotten more than a 3rd. Also there is no shot at them making the playoffs. There has been almost no shot for over a month.

They have a 16% chance of making the playoffs which is roughly 1 chance out of 6. Not very good odds. Lou should have taken whatever he could get for Palms. I suspect that he could have got at least a 2nd.

Weird 20 minutes of hockey. The lowly Sharks outplayed the Islanders for most of the period. Sorokin was really solid though and stopped like 20 shots. Georgiev was ..... Georgiev.

Yeah, Malkin making the trip could mean something's up. But GM changes normally occur after the season is over, so I wouldn't expect anything imminent.

It's very bizarre he would make this trip after the trade deadline. If they miss the playoffs, maybe Lou is out? We shall see. I missed the start of the pre-game and did catch all of Lou's comments. I thought Lou made a comment it was not just him running everything. Maybe Malkin showed up to give an impression he is involved?
