And if you had boobs you would be his aunt. Wait...In this day anything is possible so scratch that. Let me phase it another way. You have a better chance of getting hit by lighting or winning the Lotto.

I was being sarcastic. They Isles have been out of the hunt for months. I said it back in January.

There are those that still think it's possible. It's laughable. I guess I should be gratefully. Those are the people that willingly give up their money to Lotto and casinos so I don't get taxed even more.

The first two goals he should have had. The others were on the five bananas in front on him.
- Nfdbulldawg

The first goal when a player was literally left completely alone inside the hash marks? Or was that the second goal? I don’t know man I’ll completely disagree with you on that.

I dunno, but you should have gone golfing with 7.

Not sure there’s many people that hate themselves enough to do that.

He has been better this season compared to last but still looks very beatable at times.

All the pressure is on the goalie and the coach with this team.

Pierre Engvall feels all the pressure. He’s on pace for 12 points this season. Guy can’t handle the load.

I was kind of shocked when I saw that. Didn’t think it would be double digits.

Shame on you for making me go back and review the tape again. However, I have the following amendment.

First goal even though it was Kucherov. He was at top of the circle. Far enough out that Sorokin should have saved that shot.

The other three were complete defensive break downs where he had no chance.

As was I. Team has been inconsistent all year. I was feeling it in November but was holding back for a bigger body of work. nothing changed.

Kucherov was the first goal I believe. That’s the one he probably wants back but I’ll say it’s Kucherov. One of the best releases in the NHL but yeah I’ll agree with you on that one. Second goal was the one I was describing where the Tampa player(don’t recall who it was) was left completely alone five feet to the side of the net for an easy goal.

Do not disagree that the Kucherov is extremely talented. But out of the four Sorokin gave up that was one that was on him. The other three were complete defensive break downs. Dzone coverage looked like it would when you turn the lights on and the coca roaches scatter. It appears that Isles are trying to do a man to man in the Dzone instead of implementing a zone coverage.

This article doubles down on Lou's interview. Not sure what the total package of picks were.

Maybe they should be playing a zone coverage, I just hate to see Patrick taking the fall. I think the issue is still more personnel.

The fact that this team is still in playoff contention has everything to do with Roy. The guy has had to field a kangaroo straight of a lineup all year. Out of the 72 games played thus far. How many have been played with Lou's original lineup?

Zone D for this team might be the best way to address things.

Like lambert I’m kind of indifferent to Roy. The roster sucks like it did when Lambert was here but I was still expecting this firey coach that demanded a lot from his players. He’s not that guy anymore. Other than pulling the goalie when there was 12 mins left in the game I don’t think he’s done anything extraordinary.

Maybe Patrick felt he needed to dial things down after the Avs? Team needs a lot more than a fiery coach. Islanders coaches to do not have a lot of options with the long term contracts and little help from Bridge.

You can just see Patrick going somewhere else and being a big winner with the Islanders luck. You can always question a coaches decisions. It’s a tough job and especially with a team like the Islanders. Coaches can no longer coach like they did in the past.

That was my thought as well. Like the older version better but not sure if that would’ve worked out with Lou.
