Doubtful Ehlers would want to play here, but he'd be a great addition. Marner would be fantastic, but probably too expensive and then a real soft team.

I like Boeser but he's not worth anything north of 7 million per year. He's a slightly more offensive version of DeBrusk who makes 5.5 million a year.

After not wanting to be part of a rebuild in Calgary, I wonder how Lindholm and Zadorov are feeling about signing long term in Boston.

I like Boeser but he's not worth anything north of 7 million per year. He's a slightly more offensive version of DeBrusk who makes 5.5 million a year.

Both are UFAs, Brock Nelson is an older player, assists are not nearly as good as Boeser, but goal production is about same, and Nelson is better defensively.

He had 29 and 26 goal seasons before Miller arrived in Vancouver, 55 and 56 points. He's fine with any center that's somewhat offensive, but he's definitely not an 8 million dollar a year player. They've massively overpaid Petey already, they need to stop this pattern of overpaying guys.

IMO contending teams will always value and pay more for a center than a winger, unless the winger is a all-star type of player, which Brock isn't.

It should've never reached the level it did. Very poorly handled by management, especially with a new, young captain at the helm. That was allowed to fester for way too long.
