So true, dont judge Drury, he has been the GM for 4 years now. - Brukie
lol most of you already hate him that’s fine. I am waiting until the retool is done |

Yeah I know CK20 is tradeable but I dont see Mika waving, he has too much time left on the contract. Panarin might be brought back since I doubt Mcdavid or Eichel will sign with another team. The FA classes in the next 2 years dont have that "Id give you anything you want" guy - Brukie
If Eichel or mcdavid make it there then yea you go all in. Mcdavid I don’t think he does. Eichel might. Panarin has been great but he’ll be 35 going into his next contract |

Bread is also happy to be the lazy superstar. He's like Kovalev 2.0. I'm only totally happy with him about 25% of the time. Give me a guy that absolutely HATES to be on the ice for a goal against. Even if he's got less talent than Panarin, that will lead to more wins. |

You honestly think he has done a good job? Up until this season he was ok, but after the way he handle the start of the season yes I mean the Goodrow and Trouba situation, he turned the team with the best record into a circus.
Is that the way a GM should run his team? He definitely read the team wrong. Chemistry is the most important thing on a hockey team, its an intangible that cant be bought or traded. |

With the way the circus was ran... do we really think McDavid or Eichel would consider coming? It's like being an epic talented employee being asked to come and work for a company, that you have seen the CEO has crafted a team of chaos culture. The employee would rather find something that can use his gifts AND not have to work in the chaos, because they know, they don't have much say.... I understand we should have traded Trouba and Goodrow, but how it came about clearly had a negative effect on the team. |

Some of us have said that and we were lambasted for it, saying that this is the Rangers everyone wants to come here. Some on this board are just ignorant. Why would you want to come here freely when the boss just did everything in his power to basically get rid of his employees is beyond me.
Lindgren said in his Avs interview that there is a lot going on with this team and you can clearly see it. |

I have liked some of his moves, JT Miller trades and getting will Borgen I like. Didn’t love the buch trade or this Soucy trade so far. I like the Trocheck signing but not the zib extension. He has been up and down so far. My point is I want to see what he does once this retool is over. This is the first time he has had legit cap space to make big moves. I want to see the final result for me to fully grade |

I do think both would. As much as things have been a bit of a poop show, no player has ever said they do not want to play in NY. Until that happens I am optimistic about FA's coming here.

First offseason he did have $20m in cap. Extended Zib and signed nemeth reaves goody.
Drury seems to take one step fwd (removing bad player on big deals) and then signing more mediocre players on short term better deals. Nothing to really change the team except for Miller |

Been a Rangers fan, season tix holder in 60s and 70s, for 60 yrs. Yesterdays effort and performance was one of the worst I have seen in such a meaningful game in a long time. The good news is I expect they will crash and burn the rest of the season and will likely finish low enough to keep their 1st rd draft pick. |

So twice, since January 1st, this team has put themselves right on the edge of the playoff line. Both times, when they've had the chance to take advantage of beneficial results from other games they poop themselves. Adam Fox not in the lineup is a killer. |

Just take a wild swing at which free agent for the next two years the Drury will have a realistic shot of signing? |

They are not accumulating picks. They can only improve via trade or FA. Do not really trust Drury to acquire the right players tho. |

I think he goes more the trade route. Miller and Kreider very well may be moved. Zib and Panarin are question marks. I am not sure which free agents are available, haven’t seen the full list. But I am interested in Chychrun |

Agreed. Really only way they can get better. Move some big money vets. Make a follow up trade or sign an FA |

Respectfully I disagree. These are professional players. They understand that players get traded on every team every year. They don't have to be best friends with every player in the locker room. Do your job, go out and WIN! All of this speculation about guys being upset over how players left is BULLSH1T!
Look at Tkachuk on Ottawa. His bestie Norris was just traded --- he literally was in tears in his presser --- yet he went out, busted his a$$ and BEAT us. So these reports about an upset dressing room for the Rangers --- I'm not buying it! |
