They may tune out the coach depending on who he handles things going forward.
If they tune out they could drop a nice bit. - Striiker
I know they want stability at the coaching position for a change but it’s clear he’s not the guy. Jones/Briere have to see this by now. |

It’s important they move on from the current coach.
What’s more important is who they hire to replace him. |

Yup. Unfortunately until they see some stability it’s not really a desirable destination for the best candidates. |

I believe the tuning out phase has begun. They had the possibility of playoffs to listen to the lunatic coach last season. Scratching the newly named captain, did not work out well. This year, vacation definitely starts in a month. No need to keep blocking shots and playing the right way and risk some type of injury and rehab over the summer.
Torts has already scuttled Michkov's Calder chances. Even if he finishes leading rookies in scoring, he won't win. Torts had to scratch and dicispline him many times throughout the season will be held against him.

Fedotov is an adventure coming out of the crease. At least, it is entertaining. |

Last I checked you need to score more goals than the other team to win. - Striiker
It’s not about winning. It’s about playing the game the right way… the Torts way. |

Why ice the puck short-handed with a minute left when you're trying to pull the goalie? |

Odds of Sanheim getting scratched for Andrae because of a teachable moment? It is all about accountability. Correct answer- 0%. |

Sanheim is a veteran. Bad example IMO. He is going to,as he should, get extra rope. |

Fair enough. At this point of the season, I would like to see young players who have a chance to make a difference long-term play a lot. Not playing Andrae regularly makes no sense. Feed him minutes. Same for Drysdale. Feed these guys minutes. |

Good to see Pelletier get 8 minute with 2 slugs again. Why even acquire him if not going to give him a long look the rest of the way.
Just terrible player management, along with a few others. |

Find an innovator, a coach with a fresh approach. One who teaches and commands respect. One who can nurture rookies and veterans alike. I keep looking at Spencer Carbery at Washington. I don’t know how he’s done it but he’s got that team playing so well. They have one superstar and that’s Ovie. Carlson is an aging elite player, but after that, it’s a lot of good talent, role players and reclamation projects. Look what he’s done for PLD. What’s he getting out of his goalies? This man is a modern day good coach. Flyers needs someone just like him. |

It would be nice today if the Pens could find a way to come up with a regulation win.
Sad state of affairs going on. |

Agree. That guy is like the energizer bunny. Always moving his feet when out there. Give him a chance. Give him some minutes. He’s got a motor, so give him some PK time.

Well the way we should all see it, the Pens lose by winning and the Flyers win by losing. So at this point, while I never want the players or the coach to intentionally lose (if they did I’d switch teams) it’s a good thing if the Penguins can find ways to win. I hate them so I want them to win now. |

Carbery was a rising star. Idk. Give me one more year of torts with a hellacious roster. Worry about it in 26 |
