It’s fine that you want at it called (for the record I do too and hate that the game isn’t actually called according to the rules) but it’s almost never called so it’s not suddenly a good call when they randomly decide to call it to give a team a 5 on 3.

Layer in the call on Benoit snd it’s even worse a call.

They killed it but it was a garbage call IMO based on the usual. The refs reacted to the crowd and the Utah player dropping like he was shot. He was fine to start the PP and that tells you he wasn’t hurt badly, he just sold it and the ref bought it.

I happen to agree with you. They SHOULD call every gutless bullpoop punch and slash and crosscheck after the whistle. "It's intimidation and it's a part of the game." No, bumhole - it's a penalty and you should be shorthanded.

BUT they don't call it - it's so infrequent unless it's a solid punch to the face that it seems like they never call it. They let everyone go around and crosscheck and punch and slash each other and then just send them off with a "boys will be boys" attitude.

It still baffles me that pros can’t score 100% of the time 5 on 3.

It was a good call, but I'd like to see a dive in that too. That's a clear dive. Really need to get diving out of the game, it's out of hand, and this wasn't anywhere close to the worst of it.

So, hypothetically speaking, would you rather sign Mitchy or Duchene, Bennett, AND Ehlers this off season?

Likely all staying with their respective clubs, but that would be some nice balance.
