I'm just a couple of blocks off 17th Ave Sw. It's basically a strip of bars and shops. It's also the road that they shut down for the Red Mile. No driving at all.

If you’re around 17th an amazing secret burger is at Native Tongues. It’s just a few blocks down on 12th ave. A mezcal/taco joint that does a great happy hour burger. Or I also like the burgers on the rooftop patio at Craft beer market on 10th ( it’s enclosed in bad weather).
Or the duck fat poutine at National beer hall. Or…so many spots down around there.

But I rarely eat that kind of food so it’s a great cheat day.

I hear ya. I'm on a cheat week. Had a couple of Guinness at the Kensington Pub with an old College buddy. My Nephew and I are going to the Roughnecks game tonight and there's some sort of St Paddy's Day stuff going on there. I might run out of time this visit but I'll try to check it out when I can.
