Good Morning Overly Happy Patron of Hockeybuzz.

Today I got "Strangeways, Here We Come" by the The Smiths (1987).

I unfortunately was only peripherally aware of this music while in high school - they did not play this stuff on the radio, not was it out front in the record stores.

And while I have listened to most of their stuff over the years, will be fun to dig deeper into this and see what I missed in my moody teen phase.

Oh, this is really good... half way through and enjoying it.

More pop-sensibility than I thought it would have, while dark thematically, not dark sounding, if that makes sense.
