Hey, I'll take something positive at this point. I think we all know pretty much who this team is this season. So, playing the right way should be recognized and appreciated.

Its kinda crazy that 6 teams are battling for the wild card slots, although the Sens look like they have the top spot, so 5 teams with a still legit chance at the last remaining spot.

Even crazier is that all 5 teams are different levels of terrible. I mean how bad have the Rangers been and yet they are still in the hunt here somehow.

I don’t know the methodology, but here are Stathletes playoff percentages for the Eastern conference PRIOR to last nights games:

Panthers/Leafs/Lightning/Capitals/Hurricanes - 99.9%
Senators - 97.8%
Devils - 95.8%
Blue Jackets - 33.7%
Rangers - 24.7%
Bruins - 13.9%
Islanders - 12.8%
Canadiens - 12.5%
Red wings - 7.3%

Devils are so injured they could lose 5 in a row and it wouldn’t be shocking

I was told it takes into account the remaining games and if the strength of the opposition ie playoff team or non playoff team.

Jan posted a chart from Moneypuck on X, that chart had the Rangers at 56 percent.

2nd round pick maybe, because of his age.

Not much. I’d assume slightly more than what we got for Kakko. At that price u just keep him and put him on the 3rd line. He’s not elite at anything. Avg speed, avg puck handling, avg passing, avg shot. At first was somewhat physical, he’s not even that anymore. He’s extremely uninterested/checked out. I wish we knew what was going on behind closed doors with this team, bc I think it’s one of the most poorly handled organizations currently.

I hope it’s Lavy. And they’ll fire him. I can’t see him being back next season if they miss, maybe regardless he’ll be gone. These kids just haven’t developed under him. Othmann has nothing yet I see. Kakko, Chytil, Laf, etc all very meh

I do like the top 6 like this last game. Laf needs to play with miller I think because he’s such a good passer (Miller)

Othmann has been a MAJOR disappointment for me so far. Was excited for him, physical young player, figured he’d stand out but he’s been blah. Has the occasional hit here and there and definitely hustles (which I like) but in terms of seeing a top 6 player? I don’t. And yes, I know he’s on the 4th line with Rempe and Jbrod.

Laf had his best season of his career his first year under Lavi. It’s not the coach. He is just a lazy player who picks and chooses when he wants to care. Until he shows he cares night in and out this is what he will be

Eh, I think people underestimate how much damage Drury has done to this team with the way he’s managed things. Say they’re professionals etc and they should just suck it up. Cool. But end of the day, if they’re unmotivated, they’re not going to play well. It’s the entire team, not just 1 or 2 players. And the guys that it seems to be affecting the least are the guys that haven’t had long bonds with the players he’s launched (Kakko Trouba Goodrow Chytil).

The tenured guys have all been affected negatively. Fox Laf Kreider Zib Lindgren etc
