Really not a good look when your goalie try's to start a goalie fight because he didn't like something that happened. All to let him get lit up for 6 more goals.

Also, not a good look to give up 6 goals on 18 shots.

He will be the starter. Get used to it. No one is taking his contract even at half. Just hope he only sucks for a couple seasons then pulls a bob in Florida and gets better once the rest of the team gets better.

Season's done, bring Dipietro up and see what he has at the NHL level. If you do nothing, he's gone after this season.

Depietro will probably be a backup or starter for another team next year. Get used to sway-korpi for a while man. It has already rained, get ready for it it pour.

Sorry. Reason I say that is that DePietro has no reason to resign with the Bruins. Bussi either. Sweeney has tethered the bruins to Sway and Korpi. If anything, Korpi's play this year might have a team interested if the Bruins retain half again. Sway's contract and less than stellar play make him an anchor.

DePietro is 25. Maybe he does a 1 year contract but if he really wanted to see some NHL minutes net year the smart decision is to leave.

I see Zadarov basically called out Swayman in an interview with Fluto Shinzawa. Not good, not good at all. Very bad form speaking out about a teammate (particularly when your own play is nothing to write home about). Bergy and Chara must be throwing up about now...

That being said, I do think Swayman is not good for the room. I think there's still animosity about the whole holdout and his less than stellar play. Still completely blame Sweeney for this mess by not doing a two year deal with Sway out of arbitration.

Zadorov is right though. What the hell is Swayman doing? Nothing crazy happened to warrant Swayman becoming a fake tough guy. You’re in a 1 goal game during a 7 game stretch where the team, and you in particular, are playing like absolute sh!t. You think that’s the time to pretend to grow a pair? It’s all theatrics with Swayman and it’s been obvious ever since he started that ridiculous goalie hug crap with Ullmark.

Zadorov saw it for exactly what it was, and it wasn’t Swayman “standing up for the guys”. He’s a “look at me” guy, and his little circus act the other night was just another episode.

Remember when Ullmark scored that empty netter? And then Swayman tried like 7 times that year too? Pretty sure that’s the same year he started his whole “I’m going to challenge goalies to fight” shpeal. It all screams “pay attention to me! look, I’m doing something too!”.

He tries really hard to sound really smart in his interviews but everything about him and his little act is so transparent.

Having said that, I wish the refs had let them go in hopes of Kuemper pumping his eyes shut.

Can't argue with your assessment Prov. I was a Sway fan early on but he started to lose me with the arbitration whining (dammit Sweeney, why the hell didn't you do a two year deal!!) and my opinion of him has only gone downhill since.

Yeah, Dipietro would be silly to sign again with the Bruins. Such a waste to never even get a chance to see what he has. Sweeney bungled this mess and anchored us to the sinking SS Swayman.
