If Canada wasn’t a bunch of Libtard Libbies, they wouldn’t crush their citizens with taxes and their dollar would mean something.

Yeah, we'd be much better off killing ourselves with guns.

Well, yeah I would bet on it. Owners love when the shackles are removed. Even the poor teams share in all those luxury taxes. Baseball seems to love it. Ya know what they say about doing the same thing over and over again…..

Also, if you’re going to bring in politics, prepare to get smoked. I deliberately avoid it here, but if pressed, I’d be glad to school you. I’m a macro economic planner for employment. I consider myself a centrist, so I can find merit in ideas. It’s the realities that break down good intentions. Let’s leave it that.

You are delusional..

Owners in the NHL and the MLB want hard caps.. the owners don't want to see what is happening in the MLB where it is the Dodgers, Yankees and Red Sox spending at free will, while other teams spend bare minimum. And there is no parity in MLB.

You must be the one that’s delusional.

If you were correct, the owners of the “other teams who don’t spend” couldn’t make any money, they would sell their teams at a loss, or bankrupt them. However, that is not the case. Have you looked at the value of an MLB Franchise lately, or over the past 20 years? The owners who don’t spend big, make tons of money on the luxury taxes the big spending teams pay. Thus, your argument doesn’t hold water.

If you didn’t call me delusional, I’d have probably been more civil. As a macro planner w multiple sports players as clients, I see more about the business side than most.

I’m not saying it’s fair. The owners make ungodly sums, and the players make more due to free spenders. As usual it’s the fans that get screwed. It’s just economic realities.
