there's a difference between saying Demidov can't play center and saying he hasn't played at that position throughout most of his carreer.


that being said, banking on him to become a great centerman probably isn't the most ideal thing to do instead of letting him play at his natural position.

no, the point is with that kind of talent it isn't unthinkable he could actually do a great job at center, but ideally Hughes will acquire an already established 2nd line center who will be able to compliment Demidov and let him do his thing without having to worry about any additional responsibilities.
