It’s just frustrating witnessing the incompetence from him for 5 years. Ur right tho, I won’t bring up Drury anymore, but if someone else does ……..
Not having Rempe tonight against Trouba sucks - nyrangers9479
You’re too stubborn to talk to🤷🏻♂️
you’ve judged and juried the rangers now, and 5 years from now. You’ve become a Brukie crony. Congratulations |

Your eternal optimism not withstanding, what makes you think the Rangers are better now than they were in the beginning of the season? They got rid of some expiring contracts yet didnt bring in anyone good as or better to replace those that were traded. The defense really does suck.
For those who think the JT Miller trade was more about the future than as too now, why would you think that? Rangers win this trade hands down so you think we would be better, or at least playing better but at 10-12 since he got here they arent. There is no way Drury thinks getting Miller makes the team worse and they punt the season. Next year Everyone will be a year older, does anyone think this team can replicate last year or will they replicate this season.
Mika, CK20, Key Miller and Laffy, who on this list will bring back a good return? You want to see what Drury does in the summer, my fear is he signs Marner, otherwise what name brings hope, unless he goes the offer sheet route which would be surprising. |

Drury has been very good at moving contracts we thought would be very tough to move while not giving up sweeteners. What he has been very frustrating with is not being willing to part with anything not named "second round pick" in trades to make the team better. We had a great record last season but anyone watching the games (you'd imagine Drury being one of them) could see some crucial things at 5v5 were missing. We were obviously not a Jack Roslovic and Alex Wennberg away from a cup. This past offseason... we were so clearly not a Reilly Smith away from a cup. It doesn't seem like Drury is getting fired this offseason, so let's see if he truly understands that the team is fundamentally broken. From the top down. |

But yet, some people arent allowed to be pessimistic??? Those who are pessimistic were ridiculed for so long. Seems the shoe is on the other foot!!
You owe an apology to Tom. |

Drury knew this team wasnt good years ago when he undressed Panarin after that playoff series loss. The Copp and Vatrano trades were good, they gave the team a great chance but came up short. Nobody knows what goes on in those trade calls but Drury knew the team needed help and made the trades.
The Smith trade was a long shot at getting Mika going but as we can see it didnt happen, that I think is on Mika not Drury who has brought in numerous wingers to play with him.
If it wasnt for him sabotaging this season Id have given him a C. |

Told from a team source that "it's fair to say" something happened between Cam York and John Tortorella in Toronto, that contributed to the coach's dismissal on Thursday morning. Was put to me that "they probably both crossed the line." |

If Sullivan is let go in Pitt I think he’d be a better fit right now. Not sure the odds of that happening, but if it did he’d be at the top of my list.
Coach Q and Torts would be good culture shock guys but would be a little hesitant with each for different reasons. |

Mike Sullivan's contract with Pitt runs through 2026-27 season, I really havent seen much speculation they'll be letting him go, other than fans

you know the thought of trading Mika, if they could get him to waive his NMC...
he has a 9 million dollar signing bonus due on July 1st
if the Rangers paid that, then traded him, then an acquiring team would have only about 29 million dollars or so in actual cash left to pay total on his last 5 years on his contract |
