That's a perfectly valid response in this discussion.
Burning a year on his ELC this year may seem like no big deal. But, once we've made a bunch of moves to re-tool and then have to sign his next deal in 2 seasons instead of 3 could very well mean having to return to the bargain bin for our bottom 6 pick ups.

Just breathe. Each person is entitled to their own view and I get not wanting to burn the ELC. With cap rising, to me, cost of doing business and worth the risk, though I do think he needs seasoning. Don't rush him overall, let him gain experience in future at Hartford if needed.
