Yeah let’s pull the goalie, like you’re going to score period. No fight in this team.

They look absolutely lost in the defensive zone. Nobody knows where to go or who covers who. It’s straight up garbage

This guy doesn't even know where he is. "People are heading toward the exits to make their way to the downtown New York area."

Why would you pull Igor down 3 when you haven't scored a single goal in 2 games in this building

Since our last game is at home, I think Lavy will set the record for fastest firing after the season, he may not even make the post game presser that night

The more I think about it the more I really think Drury might be gone along with Lavy. Teams have down seasons it happens but I think a lot of internal issues have come to a head and has ultimately trickled onto there on ice play. The players look disinterested and don’t really look like they want to bust there ass for that jersey.

Until this season Drury was an average GM but this debacle started with Goodrow and ultimately ended when he announced the Rangers were open for business with CK20 and Trouba on the block. The team just sank from there.

Even with Miller they are a 500 team. They havent won 3 in a row since last year!! Pathetic.

Someone posted on X the scrum in the second period, score 1 0 Devils and there is 4 Devils vs 3 Rangers and (frank)ing Mika doing a figure 8, not going into the pile, no heart.

If I am thinking of the right moment, there was also a delayed penalty then so we had 6 skaters vs their 5 and were still out numbered.

I was disgusted. Skating the perimeter while ur teammates are in a scrum. Gutless coward

Predictable outcome.

GM coach and a lot of players have to go.
Slow to pucks, no defense, no transition offense or forecheck. No passion.

Lace them up and hope something goes in. Old boring team

This is why I am hesitant to extend a 34/35 year old Panarin at close to 9 million per. Need to get younger and get more core pieces out

The national announcers were talking about it. Said they had no heart or desperation, despite their playoff lives on the line.

Anyone see the post game with Messier and PK? What was said? I lost power after the 1st period so I missed the rest of the game. Probably a good thing.

The man-to-man structure is garbage. You spend all your energy following a guy around your D zone just to flip the puck out or dump it in just to get a line change...figurately speaking as if they actually get the puck back. Rinse and repeat for 60 minutes. Lavi's NYR.

Drury relieved Gallant of H.C. duties one week into May 2023 after the NYR First Round, 7-games postseason loss. Upon his evaluation of the season, including discussions thereafter with Gallant, Drury stated, "we mutually came to the conclusion that a change would be beneficial for both parties."

We witnessed multiple teams then haven hired new head coaches leaving us wondering why Drury was delaying close to the NHL Draft to replace Gallant, as the experienced candidates diminished in being down to the best being Laviolette. Next best was John Hynes just relieved then in Nashville after 4 seasons, & 3-First Rd. playoff exits. Prior to that, Hynes had a below .500 W% with NJD for 5 seasons, along with one 1st Rd.-5 games postseason loss.

Now we know even more reasons for Drury delaying & delaying in hiring Lav'y two summers ago, on top of his past known history of failing in his second seasons with any teams as a head coach.
