Or you can play the kid with a line mate right off the bat that isn’t a liability with his wrist injury. Why not put him in a better position right anyway instead of handicapping him?

Nah, let’s just be reactive instead of proactive.

yeah, you're right, why wait and let the kid play a few shifts when you can just start whining right away, it's so much fun!

That’s one way to look at it, or you could stop being an apologist for the coach because ‘he’s the coach’. Pointing out he’s playing with one armia(Thanks Pete), is a handicap and not the best use for the kid isn’t ‘whining’. It’s stating fact.

Good lord you’re an absolute muppet.

sure bud.

I'm all for constructive criticism, but every time you post you have to whine about some poop. it's Demidov's first game in North America, should be a really cool moment for everyone, but instead of enjoying the ride you still find a way to be (frank)ing whiney about it.

First of all, muppets are great.

Second of all, the idea of placing Demidov with a forward capable of producing offense (Newhook) and a defensively sound player (Armia) for his first game instead of going all out playing him with Laine and finishing the game at -3 is theoratically a decent strategy.

Now of course Armia isn't in top form but if you leave the Suzuki and Dvorak lines intact (and you should) there isn't much to juggle with is there?

yeah, the lineup is now set in stone, MSL is not allowed to change things up during the game, rules are rules.

I think MSL might be protecting him on that third line, regardless of one Armia, you can't have him playing against the top 2, or the 4th

Yeah Laine - Newhook - Demidov isn't realist at this point, more liable than me with all the new female hires.

I don’t have a problem playing him on the third line. I have an issue with playing with a guy functioning on one arm. It’s counterproductive slotting him in there.

the 4-2 is more accurate. hawks have to give up an ENG or its not a game.

Hang on a sec, I may have the answer.

Armia can't shoot so he passes more, Demi gets more chances to shoot.

There ya go..

Saying Demidov playing with Armia is counterproductive doesn’t negate the positive feelings for Demidov even being here. It’s just fact. I’d rather he be with Evans in that case, who produces more than newhook, more responsible defensively and his other line mate isn’t functioning on one arm.

Except, knowing he can’t shoot you can cheat defensively. Making any offence harder to come by. But I catch your drift Pete.

yeah, and it's too late now, Demidov has to play with Armia for the whole game. and there's zero chance he actually plays well.

what was MSL thinking, it's the law!
