I'm more interested by Hutson tbh.
if Suzuki doesn't reach 90... he'll do it next year no doubt.
but Hutson breaking the Murphy record for most assists by a rookie dman would be quite special.

How far is he?

style of play...Pietrangelo. Not saying he will that good but similar style is what I read. Biggest issue with Rein is his knee.

Well if he's in a coma you'd think his family would have the decency to write something to his hockeybuzz family.

I know my girlfriend would!

My 10 year old will takeover until I wake up.

He had a wonderful take the other day while we were watching the Florida game:

"I know nobody will buy his jersey but at least now people will remember who Dvorak is".

So proud.

Why change a winning formula?

I think they will give Kappy a chance once they clinch or lose a game. Kappy just came from Europe, they will give him a few practice to get used to NHL pace, ice size and get over the jet lag. Later next week maybe.

obviously injuries changes things. As long as Armia's wrist is holding or the string holding Anderson is holding...

Pez played 8min last night, had 7 hits (most on the team). He is not producing but he is contributing.

yes but if you're calling up Kapanen it would be to give him more ice time than Pezz, giving him 5 minutes a night would make zero sense... it isn't because he's more skilled and has more potential than Pezzetta that Kapanen is ready to play regular shifts at the NHL level right away.

I'm with Fredo on this one.

Playing Kapanen 5-7 minutes a game might not be the best thing for his long term development but if it's between that and watching the games in the pressbox, might as well make the kid play.

Odds are, he'll do more good things in these 5-7 minutes than whatever Pezz is trying to do with his lack of speed and skill.

Probably will need him to do a few pratctices before throwing him in though. He needs to remember how to play our system and get used to the smaller ice again.

yeah, I disagree with that take, Pezz is a vet who is surely more used to playing "cold" (barely being used during a game).

but I do agree that giving Kapanen a few practices before inserting him in the lineup makes sense, there's no reason to rush him in anyway.

In other news, my cousin texted me the Oilers playoff pricing for the STH"s.

Rnd 1 = $667.00per, 2 =$838.00per, 3 = $1164.00per, 4 = $2018.00per

(frank) that..
