I think he's trying to be different on purpose, and he's got a dry personality and sense of humour. It is what it is - he might be trying to downplay it as well to limit the hype?

I'd rather have meatball-sized hemorrhoids that listen to the fat (frank). Not sure if there's anyone more annoying than him and his water bottle spraying his greasy curls on his podcast.

All that hoopla around Demidov makes me laugh ... he's not the second coming of Jesus Christ. He must think all Habs fans are totally bonkers.

There's a very good chance he's a 90 point guy in 2 years, but yes, this is a bit embarrassing. It's awesome that the fandom is so passionate though. If this was a player of his status and situation joining Dallas or some other random team, nobody would really care outside of a brief note and die hard fans.

oh there's gonna be a learning curve for Demidov for sure, I doubt most fans are expecting him to score a hat-trick during his first game... but he's a very talented forward that the habs are adding to the line-up at such a perfect timing, so it should be a whole lot of fun
