I still think keeping Monahan would have been the best option. Many are excited with the first rounder we got from Calgary but it is going to end up costing us more to get someone most probably not as good…

Agree Monahan would have been perfect. Almost. He is still very injury prone. +, they also got Hage once they traded Monahan. That guy might be really good in a few years.

With Laine teams are figuring out our PP. adding Demidov will help but Laine better start to stay back at practice and work on his skating as he looks slow. We will need to move on from him if he stays like that 5v5

I doubt it, he really likes to rush and create stuff, he'll turn the puck a couple of times, he needs a reliable center who can cover for him and let him be creative.
