The Leafs other advantage against Ottawa is the fanbase showing up in mass in Kanata. Just waiting to see if this matchup happens, so I can get tickets. Not far for me, being in Kingston. I was there for the last 4 series they played in the early 2000's. The Leaf fans occupied half the building. Fantastic atmosphere. - JohnnyReb
Oh dammm I was at a playoff game in Ottawa one of those years too when I was living in - Kingston!
Only downside was the tickets I got were from a Sens season ticket holder and they were like 5 rows up in the corner and I had to promise not to wear Leafs stuff or cheer too much because the Sens were so sensitive about Leafs fans taking over their building (like they still do). I seem to recall them blocking anyone with a 905 or 416 area code from being able to buy tickets to playoff games or something insane.

Yeah, they did that. They kept anyone west of Trenton, Ontario from purchasing tickets. They act like they're running a Junior B team with their paranoia. They should just say thanks and take in the money. Without the Leafs and Habs fans helping to sell out the building, they'd have moved elsewhere. Having guaranteed sellouts at those games make them solvent. If the NHL could get their head's out of their aSs, they'd put a team in Quebec City and have more cross pollination with fanbases doing roadtrips to these games.

they have already sent out emails to Season ticket holders trying to stop that.
somethin about monitoring sales of tickets and they could be punished... but watching the sens all season is punishment enough imo

I don’t think Quebec City has the corporate base needed to sustain a team
Imagine being such a loser you hate on the guy with the 2nd most goals in the entire league?

? I love Willy.
But see this is what you do.
You take everything I say as an insult to you, when really I don’t even think about you. You start poop like this then go whine and cry for the whole thread to see.

Wanna argue? Fine. You got it. - Arctic_AARDVARK
I simply posted an opinion on people who hate Nylander, not so sure why you are so up in arms and angry about it if you love him.
Go eat a Snickers, maybe crush a white claw and calm down big shooter nobody was talking to (and since you claim you love Nylander) about you.

If you just hold out a few days I'm positive we will hear he accidentally drowned himself with that navage

I wasn’t talking tough, just trying to save you the stress considering your mileage. - Arctic_AARDVARK
I love how you seem to think anyone that disagrees with you is over the hill.
It jives with the general consensus in here that you are a 12 year old in your parents basement just angrily waiting on mom to bring down those chicken nuggies.
Full props for the effort you put in to stick to that entire story about living way up north, working at some airport and being a manager of people. it must be exhausting keeping up that lie while just hoping to get those grades high enough to graduate to high school.

I imagine it would be exhausting keeping up a lie like that.
That’s why I wouldn’t do it.
Why do you spend so many of your twilight days arguing (and being wrong) with a rando on the internet. Seems like a pretty sad way to spend retirement.
