Ya it’s great. Me and a couple buddies put a list together and talk about who we like and don’t like. Then go from there. Odds are our first guy out will shoot 78 and screw the parlay off the hop but still fun.

We always get together every masters Sunday. Wives make a bunch of apps and it’s the one day a year they don’t care we sit in front of the tv all day without getting bugged.

Pimento sandwiches?

My club had their Men's Masters Social last night. They always have pimento sandwiches. Every year, I choke down half a sandwich to say I did it. They aren't disgusting, but there are a million things I would prefer eating.

I read a hilarious stat a few years ago - which is probably true, but who knows:

The busiest day for men getting vasectomies is the day before some big day in the NCAA basketball championship.

Some really good deals for those millionaires. Last time I went to a golf course was at the Marshes and I'm pretty sure the cheapest thing was a water bottle for $5.

With a little luck we could get a Toronto/Montreal first round...only 3 points separate Ottawa and Montreal.

That would be epic

Just got offered a road-trip from NS to Ottawa and a seat at Ottawa’s first home game.

Used to play golf down south and they would sell 6 pack tall boys for $10. There was no point in trying to sneak your own on.

My course is $10 for 1 beer plus tip. Now that is where you bring a few of your own.

So we get the Habs Saturday on the end of a back to back. Devastating loss inbound.

Need a chuckle? Go read the Sens blog comments.

It's a combo of "No way Montreal can catch Ottawa" and basically "We want Toronto".

I was working in Carlton Place this morning and listening to TSN 1200 out of Ottawa. They were critiquing the 3 possible opponents that the Sens could play, and they were all giddy to say Toronto was the easiest team for the Sens to beat. They picked Tampa 2nd and Washington 3rd. I hope it happens, because I want to party like it's 2003, when we pop their balloon, one more time. Being there the last time, they played in Ottawa, the "Bless You Boy's Game", I want to see the family crying session one more time. For those who don't know about that game, it was game 6 with the Sens leading the series 3 - 2 and the Sens having all the momentum after winning in Toronto on a controversial goal by Daniel Alfredson. The Leafs were pretty beaten up. No Sundin, Tucker and others missing in that series, the Leafs fell behind 2 - 0 in the first. It looked like the end and the Sens fans were jubilant and the bravado was flowing as fast as a fresh piss after 4 beers. Being a Leafs fan in the building it wasn't going the way we thought. Then the comeback.

Tie Domi gets crosschecked from behind by a Sens player and it becomes a major penalty. I happened to be near the glass where Domi gets smoked, and he gets cut. The Leafs get on the board. The second period becomes epic, when the Leafs tie the score, then late in the 2nd, they go ahead by 1, when I believe Travis Green keeps the puck onside as the Sens try to clear. I believe it was Mogilny who scored to give the Leafs the lead. The Sens bravado goes dead silent.

The third arrives and the Leafs circle the wagons, playing the game of their lives and Cujo holds the fort. The last 2 minutes, the Sens had the Leafs hemmed in their own end and every Leaf on the ice collapses back toward their own net and blocked most of the shots. On the Leafs radio broadcast, Joe Bowen describes the last hectic seconds, and he says; "Game Over! Bless You Boys". It may have been Joe Bowan's greatest call in his illustrious career. It was Gary Roberts and Shane Corson with help from McCauley and Green who willed the Leafs to victory. Roberts was just a beast with his physical play and leadership. It was the greatest Leafs game in the last 40 years. Game 6 destroyed the Sens will to win, and they went quietly into the night back in Toronto in game 7. I think it was 6 - 0.

What I saw after game 6 astounded me. I witnessed whole families crying together, that thought their Sens were going to exorcise their demons, the Leafs. I felt sorry for them. Just before that game started the Leafs fans took over the concourse at the Palladium and had a rally before the game. After the game, outside the arena, they had another impromptu rally. It was one of the greatest nights to be a Leafs fan. I will never forget.

So, let's do it again!

That one will decide who gets which Wildcard. The Sens have been winning games due to goaltending. Some of those wins against teams like Tampa and Florida were all thanks to ridiculous saves to keep them in. It won't happen in a 7-game series. I think the Habs are the better of the two at the moment.

a) So Knies is that 57th overall pick who is a jackpot, that's the conclusion I am coming to. Is that fair at this point?

b) JT gonna hit 40 goals, a point-per-game again.

c) Stolarz is my Game 1 starter.

Reviewing that draft, the Leafs didn't even have a pick until 57, when they picked Knies. Finally they catch a break on a pick like that.

they had 12 picks the year before, and I wouldnt trade Knies or all 12 of those players (well 11 cuz Rodion).

also why 2015 I dont care that the y traded down, they just whiffed on the picks.
Take Aho, Hintz, Kaprizov or even Cirelli..nobody cares
