Takes a special mind to be completely against tanking and wanting to be good for crosby’s last years while also rooting against our prospects - Victoro311
No one’s rooting against them. I just don’t have blinders on. |

Hopefully they join Hornqvist, Guentzel, and Rust as wingers he doesn't like. |

So you’re hoping they have character issues? |

The character issues thing is more fanfiction you made up. These guys are/were all well liked in the locker room and have zero history of being bad people. Guys with actual well documented character issues like Downie, Neal, and Cooke are guys you praise regularly |

That is fan fiction. Stamkos and Downie are like best buds. Flower put Cookes name on his teammate tribute helmet. Neal take him or leave him. |

I have no doubt Rust, Geuntz and Horn are good guys and well liked, but I also watched too many cases of them choosing self preservation while Crosby comes to the rescue to totally respect them as players. |

Encouraging to see the team not fold after going down early like they usually have. Of course when at least half the roster isn't guaranteed NHL spots next year, you always have something to play for. |

Downie: racist at worst, bully at best.
Cooke: intentionally tried to injure people, not just hurt, actually injure (which you think is a good thing)
Neal: piece of poop and soft on the ice on top of that.
I’m sure they’re all good hockey players and help their teams, but too many documented cases of them being terrible people to totally respect them as humans |

Sid since the 4 Nations 15g + 16a in 23 games. Those paces would be 53g and 111 points in 82 games. He's 10th in the NHL in scoring now. |

Dubas was in Moncton last night, likely scouting Caleb Desnoyers among others.
Desnoyers scored on his first shift, added another in the 2nd and also had an assist. 1st star of the game on his 18th birthday. |

I'm going on record that if we land any of Porter Martone, Rodger McQueen, or
Caleb Desnoyers with our first pick and Kashawn Aitcheson with the Ranger pick this will be a very successful draft. |

I bet Dubas was also scouting Beckham who was solid despite the 7-0 score and the two draft eligible Dmen from Baie Comeau, projected around the 4th round. |

I like Jake O’Brien with the rangers pick if they decide to give it to us |

So do we cancel guys like Crosby and Stamkos who have praised Downie and Cooke as teammates? Where does the canceling stop? Is Fluery a bad human for considering Cooke one of his favorite teammates of all time? Downie is actually highly sought after by podcasters. He doesn’t do them but when his former teammates are asked about him they all speak highly of him. I guess maybe being a jerk, or just mimicking what was done to you as a junior A rookie shouldn’t define your life. |

My memory of that time was that everybody loved Cooke and said he was a great guy off the ice. |

I remember the pens being the first organization to my knowledge to essentially self suspend an asset and force him to relearn how to play the game. One of the proudest moments I have of this team. They said hey d bag. You represent this sweater and you are wiping your ass with it with your play. To his credit Cooke did what he was supposed to and cleaned up his game. |

One of my fondest memories is Marc Savard telling Sid he would fight him if he lost the visor and then Sid playing a few shifts without a visor and Savard avoiding him like the plague. Or Matt Cooke fighting Evander Kane on behalf of Sid knowing he was out matched. In the world of Men, a world I’d imagine most of you know nothing about this is the poop that matters. |

Most lifeless game ever, but koivunen should be a top 6 player next year, all year. McGroarty still puck watches too much |

No being nice on the ice and concerned of the well being of other millionaires takes obvious precedence. I think Marchand said it best when he just admitted they are all in reality trying to hurt each other. The world of men man. Don’t learn that poop from the cubicle with HR a phone call away. |

Flyers/Sabres have games in hand on us so hopefully they both pass us. Us and the Kraken have 1 game left and they are down two points but they own the tiebreaker. So if we lose and they win, they jump ahead of us.
A best case scenario, we'd walk into the lottery with the 5th best odds. |

Hoping at least Seattle and Sabres can leap frog us. Also interested to see what NYR does with their pick. Kind of hoping they give us the 2026 unprotected pick and then they get worse lol |

I think the Rangers fire Lavy and improve next year. They'll definitely add over the summer because their window is closing. I was hoping they'd give us this years pick.
