You can do it, it just won't be as good. But if you're a caffeine addict, it will be good enough.

You struggle with leftovers huh.

Just don't put it in the basement and forget about it. Or at least dump a bunch of sugar in it and leave it by the furnace it might turn to liquor.

I'll nuke a coffee if I have a bit leftover in the afternoon but nothing beats freshly brewed Cubita in a moccamaster before work (except maybe espressor in the evening after a big meal)

I hope his return goes well, what an inspiring story if he goes back to a level close to what it was before his injury.

Why because YOU posted the Hostess Munchies? lol

You have 2 hrs and 5 minutes to go.

Side note Hostess Munchies chips are being sold at Walmart. Ketchup and BBQ only but god dammit if they don't taste like I remembered and they are cheap compared to the bigger brands. $3 a bag.

They released Sour Cream and Onion too but only in tortilla chips - not as good.

Oh and All dressed but popcorn.

No sign of the old smoky bacon sadly.

Did I hear correctly that he had knee cartilage replacement and that he would be the first athlete basically ever to return to professional sports with that? That's amazing if so.

It’s a mess. Not what you would ever imagine. A dangerous place in a beautiful part of the country.

At least the Sens are wearing the Habs out. Leafs should be able to catch them on a let-down. The Habs will still make the playoffs, but 1stWC is almost out of sight.

Detroit dragged Tampa to OT. Hopefully, Detroit grabs the extra point.

Habs were not looking great tonight, hopefully Leafs can win it tomorrow to keep 4 points advantage against Tampa.

That's great. If we can win tomorrow night, we'll be up 4 with 3 to play. Tampa and Florida play their final game against each other. We pretty much have home ice to start the playoffs. I'm guessing we beat a Habs team coming off an emotional loss, using their backup in net. We probably lose to Carolina, because of the quick turnaround and travel. Why the NHL allows this foolishness, playing a game at 5PM after playing a 7PM game the night before and considerable travel. Just the cheap, lowlife Hartford Whalers wannabees. After that we get two bottom feeders. It's looking good for a Sens/Leafs tilt.

Pretty much.
I don't want to see Leafs playing Florida in the first round, the style they playing makes it too difficult for current Leafs roster. I prefer they trading chances with any other team, but not Florida. The more space on the ice, the more chances for Leafs to succeed.

Also the ability to play a Florida based team in the second round gives us an advantage. There will be no sweep if Florida and Tampa play. It's probably an emotional 6 or 7 game series. Ottawa is quick and well coached, but they haven't been in the playoffs in a long time. Say what you will about the current Leafs roster, they've been in the playoffs for the last 9 years and have learned the hard way what it takes to win. The Sens may be a loose team, but they've been winning with hot goaltending. It can't stand up forever. The Leafs will play a heavier game against the Sens.

Oh the old Hostess Smokey Bacon flavor in the bags with the foil insides and if you were lucky a WWF card were by far the absolute best.

Fries and Gravy was decent too, same for Pizza flavor.

My favs were always sour cream and Onion or BBQ.

I think the Leafs have pretty good chance against Sens and especially Tampa.
Vasilevsky is not the same like he was in his best years and team is not young anymore and they played a lot of hockey for the last 6 years or so.

Just saw a clip of the missed calls against the Jays in that game in Boston. Man there were some outright horrific calls. 2 balls called female dogette in the same at bat that were obvious balls. Wild.

I tend to agree, but John Cooper is the best coach in hockey and his core players have a Championship pedigree. Florida is the hardest out, so let's hope that we beat the Sens and have Tampa win a long series, getting dinged up from all of the animals on the Panthers.

The Leafs have the historical advantage and experience advantage over Ottawa the way the Bruins have the advantage over the Leafs. I'd say Ottawa is the best possible 1st round match for the Leafs.

But Tampa Bay is the best team in the division. They might not win the division but they have the best overall team in terms of stats; #1 in GF, 5th in GA, 5th in PP, 7th in PK. I would never count out Vasilevskiyy. Ever. He's 2nd in SV% with 60+ starts. Meanwhile, the Leafs still don't know who the "the guy" in net is going to be in the playoffs.

I'd still give the Leafs a better chance against Tampa Bay than Florida though because Tampa Bay's style allows the Leafs to be more loose and Florida grinds harder which usually beats the Leafs over 7 games.

Hopefully, history repeats itself and the Leafs can overcome Ottawa and Tampa Bay can take care of Florida in a long series so the Leafs don't have to face them next if they get the job done in the 1st round.

Winning two rounds is the absolute minimum for this team, this year.

I am not sure the Leafs core players are durable enough to play more than one round of playoff hockey. I don't know if they can preserve enough energy for the long run since we never seen this scenario yet.
