yeah, you wait to see what he says, and just point out the negative aspect to it

wash, rinse, repeat

- jimbro83

So Im going to assume you think he will just have negative thoughts? Unreasonable?

So If you are saying its a wash, rinse, repeat thing is this to say you think all your brother does is just say the same thing over and over?

It makes things a lot easier that the site still has the avatars and names really large. That way, you can just scroll passed the 4 names that only call each other names and rehash the same, years old arguments. Unfortunately, there just isn't that much other content these days.

I'm just ignoring all the bickering, I have no issues with anyone on this site, I got too much going on in the real world to care lol I'm just completely gutted that we ruined Sam's last season

Yep, that's the worst part for me too, that Sam had to go through this in his last year.

You could tell how much it bothers him, too. The way he mentioned a couple of weeks ago that "he's trying to pull them into the playoffs." The man shouldn't have to burden himself like that. These players should feel shame.

it's amazing, when you look at Laviolette's NHL coaching career, he has coached 6 different teams now since 2001 and always rolled right into the next team, he's never had one season off, besides 2013-14 season when Flyers fired him after 3 games, he had rest of that season off

then he took Nashville job for 2014-15 season

never any time away from game

it seems really hard to believe he would get a new job quickly again after Rangers can his ass

however, only one team can win the Cup and there will be some good teams that go out in first round, many of whom went all in, you never know

there's going to be plenty of pissed off organizations

Kesslering Fox Schneider on the right.
Miller Hague X on the left.

Cuylle Miller Laf
Panarin Trocheck Perrault
Frederic Edstrom Othmann
Jeannott Carrick Rempe

That’s 2 FA signings, 2 trades.

Borgen Zib Kreider Urho Soucy etc all traded for picks or included in The Hague and Kesslering trades. Even if you wanted to keep Soucy as the 3rd pair dman I’d be fine with it.

- nyrangers9479

I love how you think Borgen, Urho, Soucy all going to be moved along with Kreider and Zib. If Drury isn't fired he's not going to move a bunch of guys he just acquired and if he is fired the new GM is going to come in and make what amounts to probably 3 big trades to get all those guys off the roster? Wishful thinking but not going to happen.

I’m pretty confident that guys like Laf, Schneider, Miller and Borgen will bounce back if the leadership, environment, coaching, and system improve. Tall order in one offseason but I think we’d regret trading a bunch of these guys when the whole team played at 75% of their capability or worse.

Borgen was fine once he got here but eventually got sucked into the abyss like the rest of the team.

Yea I have no problem with Borgen. What do you expect him to do when every player around him sucks arse. He will be a fine going forward

I don’t really have a problem with our right side defense. I wouldn’t care if none of the lefties were back

One last playoff run with Sam would have been awesome. They should feel ashamed for letting Sam down.

I'm not saying it was for Werenski, but they certainly had something planned if the debacle of Trouba blocking being traded last summer didnt occur

they wanted to do something specific with his cap hit

They didn’t even need to do that. They could’ve had chychrun for a bag o pucks

I think we are still looking at July 1st though and they probably still at that point were thinking they could get Trouba to agree to the trade while the Capitals were stealth and pulled that off

but I don't know, this season was so piss poor from the coaching on down, who knows if Chychrun would have had a good season here
