Vally - picklerick
That’s the only thing tons of really bad hockey GMs out there. They better have a good solution if they move on |

Yup same thing with a coach, even I've said the only likely choice is Q but I don't see it happening or fixing things |

I honestly have no idea, but it has to be someone that players respect and hopefully someone that wont be a puppet to Dolan.
Basically, I look at the teams who have been the most successful and building a winning roster. |

Yea I am open if they have a legit good solution to replace him. But with how bad some teams are ran right now it’s always risky |

I agree with hiring Coach Q to coach the team.
For the GM position, my first choice would be Gregory Campbell. Being the son of Colin Campbell, you gotta figure hes already a respected person in the hockey community. He's also been behind Bill Zito for a while now, first in Columbus, and followed him to Florida when he got hired to be GM. |

Id consider giving carte blanche to redo the whole Rangers hockey operations staff.
Scouting, development, etc... especially. Its beyond ridiculous whats going on here with the guys we draft. |

They’re drafted and then put into the bottom 6. These guys have been top line guys their entire career and then expected to develop on 14 minutes a night playing with bottom 6 players. Laf and Kakko were in the bottom 6 for the first 2? 3 years? Of their careers. All these other top picks get top 6 minutes almost right away. |

This blog is obsessed with people’s age, height and weight. It’s actually hysterical at times. In the end give me good hockey players. Can care less how big or old they are - TPC
So you want a 37yo 5"8' 230 lb guy as your right wing? |

I will say, its a little bit excessive how much people talk about size. But to knock a defenseman who is maybe 6'1, 195lbs, is a little crazy. Kronwall was this size and became an adjective for his hitting. Being strong and physical is a choice. |

You can have a guy that’s 6’1 195-200 and plays tough. You can have an Adam Fox. But the rest of the defense can’t also be soft, fluffy and undersized also. |

But again, soft is a choice. Miller has size, but he plays soft. So size isnt the end all be all of toughness. Thats all Im saying. |

BTW for all the hate this draft class is getting, theres quite a few defenseman with some positive upside based on what writers have said about them. Which I think should be an area of extreme importance. |

I’ve always said size isn’t everything. But if a player is small and undersized, I’d want them to be a physical small and undersized. (Marchand Bennett even Zucc plays bigger than he is). That’s all I ask for. No issues with a guy like Berard for example. |

He just won the players, which is like the 5th major, so he has a chance for one of the best golf years ever |

Yea it’s why I don’t buy too much into size. Berard plays physical with a lot of energy. Just give me more players like him |
