You're being pretty hard on a team that just lost 3-2 in OT to the first seed in the eastern conference.

Welcome to Montreal !

Montreal had nothing to do in the playoffs so we need to take it as a bonus and be happy and optimistic for next year…

Slaf sur la deux, Demidov sur la première.

Struble out, Xhekaj in

- MortChicken

Slaf will be fine, needs to be more involved though.

Also, Demidov didn't do anything to deserve a promotion...

yeah maybe but I think it's those guys carrying the team.

The Evans line did fine.

Gallagher did what he could, the rest of the line needs to be better, Anderson needs to be in their face.

Newhook's line was invisible mostly.

Absolutely.

Plays die on Laine's stick too often.

Not to mention how his turnover at the red line ended up causing the goal in OT.

For a guy that claimed he would "turn it up" in the playoffs, he's been frustrating to watch.

I still think the man's knee isn't 100%. He was not that slow before.

yep. fast skater, lefthanded and good on faceoffs, not too old not too young, talented...
it will cost a lot though, many teams are looking for a C.

MSL plays Laine in OT. When he (frank)s up during regular season, it gives you 1 point. In the Playoffs, he gives you a nice kick in the low body…. Laine, apart the PP, is a liability…. He is slow and lazy… 2 “qualities” that makes you a cup contender…

MSL will need to find a way to put Demidov on another line… Why not Demidov with Dvorak and Anderson?

It is not that great but what else? Can’t believe I am missing Dach… LOL!

There's a guy called Danault in LA, had a pair of goals yesterday, one of the best in the league at faceoffs too.

he the one that dig the puck out on the equalizer

Suggesting Demidov to go on the 1st line is plain stupid, 1 he played a terrible game, 2 our first line has the most point in the whole NHL after the 4 nations tourney ( 5 on 5) you do not break that !

oh well they won't fix that for game 2.
it will have to wait for next season. it is what it is.
the trade deadline was 1 month ago.

Statistically every time St-Louis doesn't play Xhekaj in the playoffs, a Pope dies.
- MortChicken

that we can agree on, just unsure on why we should still care nowaday about the pope ?

Yep…. No 2 quality Centers for years and always a questionable Coach…

It will be interesting to see if MSL will be there many years…
