But it's not like I received a message from Eklund explaining why my blogs were being deleted, or that the users got a message warning about posting about another website.

Personally, I'll stop posting here sooner than later and it seems pointless to write another blog.

It's really too bad, we've had good times here the past 18 years.

yeah, I'm not sure how much tweaking/improving they're gonna do over there but honestly I prefer the functionalities we have here, they're just quicker and easier to use.

i think they're gonna do as much as they can. things have already been added since the very beginning.

i look at it this way (and we're probably about to lose this thread lol). the other guy has a thread specifically for users to request improvements to his site so he can look into making the changes (while this guy is spending that time searching threads to delete posts that mention the other site) so i think they want to get it as functional and user friendly as they can.

Absolutely, it needs to be improved. Significantly.
