Just 'cos you asked, I figured I'd look. Here are the nominees, so to speak:
Duchene with 81 points in 81 games for Dallas @ $3m
Holloway signed as an RFA by St. Louis with 63 points in 77 games for $2.3m
Monahan with 54 points in 52 games for Columbus @ $5.5m
Lankinen with Vancouver, 50 games, .901, 2.64 for $875k
Stolarz with Toronto, 33 games, .924, 2.02 for $2.5m
Talbot with Detroit, 46 games, .902, 2.91
In terms of what Stolarz has brought, he's been exceptional night in and night out - but he has only played 34 games (including tonight).
Duchene, though, maybe doesn't quite count since he just resigned. . . .it wasn't like an acquisition that added to your team.
So Lankinen playing that well for 50 games in Vancouver is impressive. Holloway getting a chance in St. Louis and excelling with it has been a good story - and of course when healthy a motivated Sean Monahan has been inspirational. - Monkeypunk
Right? Those are my wife's comfort channels! She lets me watch all the hockey and in return she watches all the food and renovation shows. I can't afford to go to Leaf games and she can't afford to renovate, so we compromise and eat food!
This is the middle. - Monkeypunk
Do you have a conversation about what to have for dinner every night.
... cable is getting too expensive for the odd sports game that I can usually stream anyway, and Home and Garden shows.

Do you pay for that iptv app? Which one is it? I have a roki on a 2nd tv and a google on a 3rd. Not a fan of the google one. Roki is ok.
But ya the streaming box we have has way too many options - Fakepartofme
I do pay it’s like $100 per year. The App is TiviMate. It’s through a guy from work who knows a guy….lol

1st round match ups are always dangerous and most every year we see a first round upset surprise. This year the East looks especially dangerous. Lots of comments identifying Ottawa as a team with the goaltending, D and depth up front to give any team a challenge.
But don't rest on Montreal. They are fast and they have been playing tenacious hockey. Not likely, but imagine the buzz if both the Sens and Canadiens won their first round match ups.

My day is now complete. Thank you - Canada Cup
For the record he prefers playing the Leafs over the Florida teams. Which makes sense. But then you wonder why risking losing to Toronto yet again is appealing? Then you remember he's a (frank)ing idiot. Then you wonder...was he still a Leaf fan when the Leafs won those series against the Sens or had he jumped ship already? Then you remember buddy acted like he was better than everyone else because he got tired of lack of recent cups and chose to follow a team with no NHL cups ever..and it all makes sense. Then you're left wondering, should we not have considered Laine over Matthews with our first overall?

Thanks for bringing this guy up, it’s even making me smirk about how I’m currently watching the Vegas Calgary game lol
