I can't comprehend watching Sid and Ovi both score in a game and caring about draft picks. We may never see that again, enjoy it, all-time greats still great after 20 years. The draft, free agency, etc, can all wait at least until tomorrow.

Absolutely still enjoying this. It felt borderline depressing when Mario stepped away early. Never thought I'd have that type of talent on my team again. Blessed to see Sid, and going to enjoy it while it lasts.

My head gets in the way sometimes of that, but I never have trouble watching them win even meaningless games.

Who's not enjoying the games? I watch them all. It's awesome seeing Sid dominate. I just think it's ok to discuss the future when team was basically eliminated from the playoffs 3 months ago. That game tonight was played like a preseason game and it was every bit as meaningless. Go on any of the other threads whose teams are done like the Penguins. Guess what they're talking about.

Feel like we have always seen eye to eye here. Think you’re a bit more pessimistic about the short term and I’m a bit more optimistic (probably kidding myself just to get into it more while it’s still happening) but generally same page

So are we picking 8th? Did we lose the Rags pick this year? I thought it was top 13 protected,

We will go into the lottery with the 9th best odds. Amazingly, there is a 4 point gap between finishing with the 4th best odds and 9th.

Ranges finished with the 11th best odds. So they are free to decide what to do with their pick since they missed the playoffs. They need to inform us within 48 hours before the draft.

Cant believe we went from a 80.8% chance of getting pick 4-6 to a 87.9% chance of pick 9 or 10. Insane.

mkrisnosky posted right after Sid scored complaining about our draft slot. That was Sid's last game for almost 6 months, he was playing great, Ovi scored a great goal, just enjoy the game.

You guys that don't complain when Sid scores can talk about the draft all you want.

Maybe. Getting Marner would be a huge help. That D though....woof. Tending....woof.

I think the D needs a serious revamp, but the goaltending in the minors is looking on the up and up.

Seems like EK knows he’s on his way out judging by his media comments during locker clean out.

X - X
X - Letang
Pick - Brunicke

These are the only suitable parts. Gryz can run a PP but idk if that’s worth keeping him. He’s not a 1 LD and he’s prob a terrible partner of Letang.
