The only thing I can say is.. .having 2 cousins who live in the city and are BatSheet crazy Rangers fans -

talking to them this AM after the breadman thing broke was they were happy Sam doesn't have to be around to deal with this crap going forward.

Neither of them trust Drury or Dolan to do the right thing this offseason.

now this is the kind of thing now that it's out and the team has been such a disaster where they clean house including Drury

I've just kind of dismissed the thought of Drury getting canned until now

they could very well get rid of absolutely everybody

Yea this could force dolans hand now for sure

He’ll always be guilty in some peoples eyes no matter what happens from here. He’s going to have to give a statement now, so curious to see his side. The story doesn’t sound fabricated, but he made his intentions pretty clear and she still went to his room. Assuming he thought that meant she was down, but using force of any kind is inexcusable. That part of the story is his word against hers. Absolutely the last thing this organization needed.

This is a really big accusation and mess. Panarin could have been charged, with at least grand larceny. The fact that he took her phone and said come to my room to get it is sexual harassment to boot. The fact that this woman got paid off doesnt bode well either.

Her word vs his is true inside the room but if he took her phone or made advances toward her in front of others and they collaborated her story, this gets uglier.

(frank)ing crazy if we were to wind up with another first overall pick only to have to give it to the Pens for what would amount to Marcus Pettersson and Drew O'Connor.

Wanna bet that pick will be a super star?

I really dont ever believe we will ever be that bad when we have Igor Shesterkin in net , I'm not too worried about it, you can though

Makes me wonder if Trouba, as the captain, was totally disgusted with how it was handled and just needed to get away from the mess that is now surfacing

wonder if that whole thing a few months ago where they said employees aren't supposed to associate with the team or whatever it was had to do with this

Included that in the blog. Plus have to wonder if unfortunately there were other incidents, maybe not if exactly the same type, but where issues arose driving the change in practice

Just one more thing to add fuel to the fire.

By all accounts the matter has been settled for some time. One wonders why this needed to be made public.

If we knew of every bad act, by every professional athlete our collective heads would spin.

So, now they forget about extending Panarin. Move on.

There's so much actual work that needs to be done with the club.

I don’t think so. He rejected a trade out of new york at the draft. Feel like he would have known by then

Now that this has come out, I can see a full housecleaning and no one would be surprised.

The Panarin issue might have details to it that are hard to deal with. Maybe it's a he said/she said thing. Could be false claims and they paid her to go away. I'm not taking sides here and saying Panarin is innocent, but this does happen all the time. Its a team employee so it seems unlikely that she is lying but we don't really know. I hope he didn't do anytihng stupid but if he did, I feel bad for her and it's not a good look for the team.

Valid point, but if that trade was to Buffalo, I could see Trouba saying anywhere but there.

Could have been leaked from within the organization. It doesn't seem to make any sense for a journalist to leak it unless it was serving a purpose.

I hate to say it. But this orgaization needs a total tear down.

The fans will adjust to a team that hustles and plays the right way. It's better than the dysfunction we witnessed this year, and it will only get wirse.

Drury should have known it was going to happen lol
- TPC

Yes. Drury would be one of the few that knew Panarin had this skeleton in his closet and this was a lost season to begin with.
