Honestly if you are going to spend the next 5 years complaining about the JT Miller trade every single day it’s going to get very very tiresome.
Everybody knows you hate it. You don’t neee to keep saying it.
But I’m sure it won’t stop you - jimbro83
No one talked about the JT Miller trade today, you bring it up and then will say I won’t stop talking about it. You’re sick in the head. |

It took you a while to agree that we need to be NS, it’ll take u a while to agree trading for Miller wasn’t the right TIME, but you’ll get there. - nyrangers9479
This was first thing I saw when I opened this page up this morning you cement head |

For those insisting on having a veteran retread coach to replace Laviolette who was a veteran retread coach, here’s a stat for you:
The last coach to win a Stanley Cup for 2 different teams was Scotty Bowman in 1997. |

Welp Rick Tocchet’s next Cup as a head coach will be his first |

I don’t think he’s their guy tbh. Not really sure who is. Have a feeling one of drurys cronies could be
Tochett has also won two PO series. He’s probably worse than gallant and Lavi from a record stand point |

I think if he actually interviews he stands a really good chance at being the guy they select. I think he will come in with the attitude they are looking for right now. |

I really would love to give Jeff Halpern a chance. Been working under Cooper and the Tampa organization for a bit. Lots of good reviews on him. Need to start plucking coaches from good trees. |

Halpern Carle woodcroft
Q is good but brings a lot of bad optics they don’t need. I’d like torts in sin fashion but not as HC. Sullivan would be good but he’s not leaving imo |

Woodcroft would be an intriguing one, because he had all the weapons but no goalie/defense to support it. But he like Sullivan run a face paced 2-1-2 which this team, I dont think, has the legs to run.
If Im Dallas, and they lose in the first round to the Avs, I fire Deboer and I go after Carle. Carle is not a good fit for NY for Carle. Its not the right environment for him. Dallas would be the perfect fit for "the next big ticket hockey guru".
I think Sullivan stays as long as Crosby is there. Once they go into full rebuild mode, he will likely leave. |

Well, if Stan Bowman can get rehired, and rehired quite quickly... no reason why Q shouldnt be behind a teams bench. |

Youre the GM and owner of a team, do you care more about winning or about media headlines?
The Rangers are one of the most hated teams by fans around the league, Q wont matter. |

I would agree with this except for one VERY important issue:
If Kreider was really hurt or fighting through a painful back ---- then WHY would he play in the 4 Nations instead of getting rest/treatment for said problem? I can't give him a pass here... - TommyGTrain
You certainly have a valid point. But, when was the last time Kreider played for Team USA? I'll wait... Pretty sure that's your answer. |

Its irrelevant Tony. He is under contract with the NY Rangers, not Team USA!
If he was healthy enough to play for Team USA, then you can't simply give him a free pass for his really poor season with the Rangers. Hey I'm a fan of Kreider, but he SUCKED this year for long stretches. No pass for him. Time to cut bait and move on... |

Sign Marner, trade Panarin. Similar types of players, but would be a chance to recoup some picks. Marner looks good tn vs OTT. |

A Rangers redraft for fun…
2017: Nick Suzuki, Morgan Frost
2018: Evan Bouchard (pretty weak draft), KAM, Matthias Samuelsson
2019: Moritz Seider, Jake Neighbors
2020: Tim Stutzle
2021: Wyatt Johnston

Do we know that for sure?
I really don’t think he’s a problem. These two years under Lavy are his worst two years. He’s producing with Miller and he’s versatile. Wing or center.
Boeser makes him likely to go and I’d take that trade off. I’m a Mika guy but I really want Boeser |
