We have been misery for 30 years so another 5 would be a drop in the bucket.

I havent seen anything this past year that gives me any kind pf positive vibe going forward.

If Zib doesnt waive then he is passenger for another 6 years. CK20 is gone, for a few picks then what? Who else can we trade to get quality back? Fox looks like he is 38 and the rest of our defense is soft.

I dont want Tocchet or Boeser. You just want them because of "What they did last year" sometimes that is only magic for one year, didnt work out this year. Chasing another 7 x 8.5 FA hasnt worked out in the past.

The Rangers need to fix themselves, their mindset before going forward.

It seems odd to keep those 2 unless one of them is the next HC with the other still an assistant. I’d guess they’d hire a defense coach

One strike against Drury, it’s mystifying why he wasn’t fired earlier in the season. It just seemed so obvious all season long

Who the players are, idc. But what I think needs to be done is add a tough physical player to the top 6 and at least 2 big physical dmen.

I like Frederic as a FA signing for the top 6 (yes I know he’s miscast there but think it could work). Adding a player like Frederic into the top 6 would just mean the 3rd line would be that much better.

I think the only thing set is the 4th line with Edstrom Carrick Rempe.

Honestly, what FA contract does age well? You either take chances or you don’t. Or you wait and wait and wait for your 10 first rd picks develop.

Vegas has it right. They’re bold. Take gambles and never have a first rd picks. But they are in the thick of it every single season
