Played with it for two years. Which begs the question - why not get it fixed after last season unless the recovery time would have sidelined him into the season. - airjan23
None of this makes much sense and makes the org look stupid |

Fox, Kreider, Schneider, who else has been playing with significant injuries? WHY? |

I don't see how De Haan couldn't have been a replacement for a labrum-less Schneider.
We had more guys than they could play at his position. Very frustrating. |

This is an egregious mishandling of players. |

Colin Stephenson: Braden Schneider had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder. It’s a problem he’s been playing through for two seasons, he said. He was sore two seasons ago, found out about the tear last season, and it got bigger. It’s a 3 month recovery time, he said. |

I understand, guys playing through injuries in the playoffs, but this should have been taken care of before the season started. Fox's knee should have been addressed before the season started. Kreider should have sat until he got better. Who knows what other injuries were being swept under the rug. However, I brought up how things with this team has changed since Jim Ramsay was fired, now it makes sense. |

Did something official come out about Fox’s knee? I’m hoping there’s something significant that’s been holding him back. In a way makes sense these guys didn’t fix last off season because they played another month and a half. At the same time, the team can play without them for a month or two. |

The schneider one is bat poop. Labrums do not need surgery right away but when it gets worse you gotta do it

And there was never an answer on why he got fired other than he had dinner with a player after a media event. I read rumors it was because he leaked information to the media. |

On another inside note, the players hated the coach as well. - nyrangers2
But how about last year? They had the best record in the regular season, doesn't sound like they could have hated him that much last year. What the hell changed in a year?? |

Year one can be very different when things are going well. Lavi has notoriously had short stints recently.
As bad as trouba contract was he seems to be the glue that held things together. Fell apart when he left.

When accountability is shared by everyone, it’s usually owned by no one. Managers manage. Coaches coach. Players play.
That line’s been blurred for #NYR |

Supposedly he leaked a fight between Drury and Gallant. |

That's a good point. Always thought he was one of the best trainers in the league. |

Well, Sully and Q arent retreads. They were successful long-term championship coaches. Time got the best of Sully in Pitt and Q in Chi. You can argue Q started the culture change in Florida that led to where they are now. - aecliptic
Q should never be allowed near a locker room again. |
