Well, I cant say that Im surprised. Hughes/Hamilton as a top pairing is crazy. If it were to happen, whatever Canucks get back will not be equal value. |

Typical Jim Rutherford press conference. Fires at the hip, says what he wants to say.
If the Canucks were smart, they'd trade Quinn to the Devils this summer and do a quick retool/rebuild.
And based on Dubas's comments today, I dont see a scenario where Sullivan leaves Pittsburgh this summer. |

Idk man, feels like Gallant and Lavy 3.0.
Crazy heâs the same age as Gallant and a year older than Lavy. Wouldâve guessed he was a few years younger. |

Nemec, Casey, Mercer, picks. Problem is Nemec and Casey are RD. I would do anything i could to keep him |

Every coach has flaws or else they would be coaching somewhere
I really like Vancouver of last season. It was a real good team that kind of had goaltending issues. They had a few games where I thought they were winning the west. EP 40, like the Trouba situation, derailed their season imo. I think miller and Tocchet work well together, he had 100 pts season. Itâs a recency bias I guess, but it worked fairly well out there and we know Miller is the man for the Rangers now |

Still say the craziest thing the last 10 years is Jeff Skinner playing his first ever playoff game. 1078 career games, first playoff game tonight. Thatâs wild |

Doesn't matter who the coach is unless there are major changes and hopefully a (frank)ing captain. Preferably Miller |

Nobody.
WiFi has been scratched a lot. Miller doesnât play the game we all want but is better than him. Still have hope for Laf |

Yeah, that one's not even close.
Does it matter at this point, though? I swear, it's getting harder and harder to deny the "we can't develop prospects" gripe these days. 2 more playoff goals for the galactically useless Brett Howden to start that series. |

It's not so much the lack of development, its more about how NYR misidentifies where a prospect will fall when it comes to NHL depth/lineup. Over value way too many.

I think Laf just had a bad year like everyone else and will bounce back next year. |

I would say they draft worse than scout. The e kakko and Laf blunders are more development issues |

I think Laf gets 62 next year. Not ideal but a big step. If he puts up under 60 they will look to trade him |

Laf gets a pass for this past season IMO. Whatever was going on in the locker room, we can't expect Laf to not be affected.
