I think maybe the sportsnet guys had it right. The ref went over and said something to Stolarz. Probably was a warning. They let him get away with a couple for the BS last game, but that was it. Same way the refs appeared to go over and say something to Tkachuk.

Feels a little like 2013 carlyle leafs, but not as bad. Biggest diff is the goalies being elite.

Great g'tendin, good PP and limiting HD chances against could get you a decent run.

Laughton's line is like a blanket of nothingness ...in a good way. He played about 10+ minutes of 5v5 against Stutzle, Pinto and Cozens and XGF and XGA were as close to 0 as you can get. Check, grind, block, clog, and let the $$-men win the game.

Laughton has been good both games, watching him get into it with Giroux was pretty great, he doesn't take poop from anyone and appears to be a team first guy.

It's almost like teams who have leads typically get outshot as they circle the wagons to choke high danger zone chances, whilst allowing perimeter/low danger bs.

I don't see it, Leafs have better depth this year, more maturity. I can't see them not moving on to the 2nd round this year.
