lol Steelers don’t have a qb. Shadeur available and they pick a RB.
Dude is a joke - sammy87
If Shadeur wasn't Deion's son, no one one would up in arms about this and he wouldn't have been projected as a round 1 guy. |

I don’t really give a poop about either of the Sanders’ but I just don’t think Shedeur has any traits to make him a franchise QB so I care a lot about the Steelers not drafting him. I do think that picking Milroe and Gabriel over him is pretty insane though.
I’ve convinced myself that taking Ewers if available as soon as this next round is a good idea. Kahn has been a good drafter and I think in 2026 this team could maybe be a QB away if health and development permit. Ewers has a cannon and his negatives can be mitigated by a good o line (again this is very much development dependent since our o line sucked this past year but I do think we have the pieces to have a very good line with seasoning). He played almost all of last year hurt which I think is making him very undervalued. I’d rather have Ewers than any QB in this draft not named Cam Ward. - Victoro311
Pretty sure they have a backdoor agreement with Rodgers to start so if they go into the season with Rodgers and Rudolph, that's fine by me.
I think they should take one of the guards remaining in round 4 if the above is true.
Mbow or Frazier. Put him in rotation to keep beefing up the line.
Pick a QB next year where the class is considered better for QBs.
An unlikely pick for me, but I think it'd be fun to see would be taking another RB, if Skattebo is available and Warren is just okay this year, let Warren walk and run Johnson/Skattebo backfield in the next few years.

I know nothing about these guys, but sounds like the RB was a home run pick so was happy with that.
Wouldn't have complained about getting Sanders that low either though. I don't think I've ever seen someone fall that far. |

Yeah I (frank)ing hate Rogers but I’ve came to terms that he’s gonna be a steeler weeks ago. Pretty obvious that the parties came to an agreement to sign after the draft so that compensatory picks didn’t get messed with.
Skattebo isn’t going to pan out in the pros. Fun college player but too slow and gonna be too easy to tackle by the level of athlete in NFL front 7s |

To me sanders projects as a backup. He’s. Pocket passer with a mediocre arm that was throwing to a pretty good college wide receiver core in a bad confrence. He’s also small to boot. There is absolutely nothing about him that says he has franchise qb potential. You don’t take a guy like that until the 5th round. He’s around the same caliber of prospect as will howard who at least has size and a slightly better arm |

I thought since Roger's was released, he wouldn't count towards compensatory picks?
As for Sanders, if he's still there late 4th, I'd take a shot. Wouldn't stop me from taking anyone next year, but maybe you hit on the lottery aspect. |

Yeah I’m assuming there’s some intelectual property thing at play as part of the dispute since the old blogs are being taken down |

I’ll say it now in case it happens, if Dubas hires DJ Smith, that’s a sh!t hire. Love should be a no brainer here over smith |

The one silver lining is other smith is that those post-EK Ottawa teams were truly dog poop so possibly not indicative of how ability, and
but we’re not super far behind that and he probably played some role in the general dogpooptiness. |

Looking at Love's stats ... in the WHL he averaged almost 5 PIMs per game one season, and had a ton of PIMs (must be fights) every year. In the AHL he averaged over 3.5 PIMs/game for two straight seasons. Definitely a different type of guy to Sully. |

He had 40 fights in a WHL season and 34 fights one of those AHL seasons. So yeah, fought a ton. |

The whole defence first comment regarding his coaching style has me iffy though.
And yeah smith didn’t have a whole lot to work with in Ottawa… but neither is he here so 🤷🏻♂️ |

I contributed to 1 of his dub scraps when he played for the broncos. Im pretty sure that season as a league we had something like 1,100+ fights. Deryk Engelland, Jordin Tootoo, Colton Orr, Zach Fitzgerald, Rick Rypien couple of the notable guys from back then. Was a fun or not so fun time to play haha |

Did you win?
50 fights in one WHL season -- did he fight the same guys a lot, since if not he must've fought about 10% of the entire league in one year. |

So I commented on this notion before the most recent blog was axed… people just saying he’s a defensive first guy, is there evidence to back it up? Or is it just relative to WTF we are now (I.e 6 breakaways against/game).
To be fair, I do feel your reservations on it as well, but I want to make sure it has its context. |

I’ve read, and someone also posted here, that he’s a defence first type of person. Now there wasn’t much context to that and I immediately jump to the conclusion of Mike Johnston or that one year in Washington they had that one coach I can’t remember the name of. There wasn’t much in the articles I’ve read other than what I mentioned… which was basically nothing lol |
